While visiting my in laws in the KC area, I was in major need of a chiropractor! I pinched a nerve in my shoulder (and I’m 19 weeks pregnant), had numbness down my arm, significant pain, and hadn’t slept at all for two nights & we had a 3-hour drive home still ahead of us. I found this office on Google and called right at 8am hoping for a same day appointment, and they were able to get me in! Dr. Thomas was absolutely wonderful. They did some really insightful scans, the adjustment went great, and it was such a relief that his approach was very similar to my chiropractor back home who I love. He was kind, thorough, and took the time to answer questions and even offer pregnancy related advice, despite knowing we likely wouldn’t be returning patients. I especially appreciated was that Dr. Thomas shared that he is a Christian, my husband and I are as well, and I loved being able to talk openly about faith. The atmosphere and care were excellent! If I lived in KC, this would absolutely be my go to office, and I’ll definitely be returning anytime we’re visiting family and I need care!

Expect Miracles, man. Dr. Thomas has already restored my quality of life in a lot of ways. I was looking down a scary path of living out the rest of my life with spasms, migraines, vertigo, double vision, memory fog, and confusion. I was very close to quitting my job until I found him. He's trained in upper cervical care and it's very RARE for chiropractors to have this specialty under their belt. Most of all, he's a problem solver. I can rest and trust that he will figure out how to make it happen. I am not worried in the slightest that he won't be able to handle all of my weird symptomology.

The level of care AND caring is phenomenal here! Dr. Thomas has been helping our backs heal for 4 months now, and we don’t even mind driving an hour or more every week for our treatments! It’s totally worth it (It’s amazing how many areas of health, spinal care can help with !! We’ve especially been noticing improvements in digestion and for myself better hormone balance! And that’s on top of having much less back pain!) We also love how welcome we feel every time- thank you Amber🥰

I started going to them because I wasn't seeing the results from my other chiropractor. They are great and always know where to adjust. They are intentional with the adjustments and I absolutely love how they explain what they are doing and the WHY behind it. They are super friendly and flexible with my schedule, which is nice with two under two. If you’re pregnant I highly suggest seeing them during your pregnancy and after! Also, If you have kids, take them in!! Mine haven’t been sick and I know it’s because we are seen once a week! We love our Chiro’s! It also helps that they love Jesus!

Dr. Phipps harbors immense knowledge about how to get my rascally spine back into proper alignment! He's friendly and professional and will help you feel better than you did before! Just tell him that you have a "Sublixation" and he'll fix it right up for you! I've been going to Innate Family Chiropractic for almost 7 years now and I'm glad to have it as a part of my life!
