I am writing to express my profound disappointment and to share my negative experience with a recruiter named Emma Hereford. My interaction with Ms. Hereford began when she contacted me regarding a Registered Nurse position at an Oncology facility. While I ultimately was not selected for the role, my subsequent experience with Ms. Hereford was deeply unprofessional. Following notification that I did not receive the position, I had a clarifying question regarding the application process. Unfortunately, Ms. Hereford became completely unresponsive. My phone calls went unanswered, and I received no replies to my emails. It became quite evident that once the possibility of a commission was lost due to my not being hired, Ms. Hereford no longer deemed it necessary to communicate with me. This abrupt cessation of contact was incredibly disheartening and left me feeling disregarded and unimportant. When I attempted to escalate this lack of communication by politely requesting the name of her supervisor, Ms. Hereford refused to provide this information. Instead, she accused me of being rude, despite my consistently polite and professional demeanor throughout our interactions. This unfounded accusation was particularly upsetting and demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism on her part. Due to Ms. Hereford's refusal to communicate and her unwillingness to provide supervisor contact information, I was left with no alternative but to contact the Consultant Engagement Team at Insight Global directly to report this unacceptable behavior. My experience with Emma Hereford was highly negative and demonstrated a clear lack of commitment to candidates beyond the potential for personal gain. Her unprofessional conduct and subsequent refusal to communicate or provide necessary information reflect poorly on her as a recruiter and potentially on the organization she represents. I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously and used to address the conduct of Ms. Hereford to ensure that other job seekers do not experience similar treatment.
