Best studio to learn how to dance salsa and bachata in Austin!! I really like how they have a belt system for their class progression, it motivates you to keep learning! Each class has a curriculum of skills to master. Their most popular day is Tuesday, when they offer both salsa and bachata classes for all levels. They also their dance social at 10pm that day. Shoutout to the instructors, especially Hannah, Michael, Morgan, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Marcus, and Favian - they are all fabulous! I would also highly recommend taking private lessons with them to accelerate your learning and get personalized feedback.
I'm having a blast going to this studio. Like most of the reviews here say, the environment is very energizing. I like the belt system, because it gives you tangible ways to improve. The private lessons I've taken with Marcus and Favian have also been top notch!
I’m new to this place but I’m loving the size of the studio, and the teachers. I bought a package of Zouk lessons and have been coming and bringing friends. First class is free. I definitely recommend trying it out.
The semi-private series for Ladies Bachata Styling with Lily are a fantastic way to either ease yourself into sensual bachata if you have no experience with this style or sharpen your already awesome skills and want to elevate your style. The sessions are very well structured and organized in a way that is easy to follow. The best part is the Lily is a fantastic instructor, very clear, fun, and cares very much for her students. If you are on the fence, all I can say is that I am very glad I went and you will too!
BEST DANCE SCENE IN TEXAS!!! Best dance teachers in Texas!! Best dance environment anywhere! After COVID I was in a dark place and I found IM and all I can say... IM saved my life and brought joy back to my soul! The smiles, the music, the teaching and friendships and dancing made me whole again! In the last 6 months of dedication, my confidence, friendships and dance skills have all bloomed to outstanding levels. Fabian and his IM Team are exceptional, professional and super invested and passionate about this community. They've dedicated their lives towards teaching you to become your absolute best version of a dancer! They even have dance teams if you want more. It's fun, it's safe, it's challenging and it's for everyone from beginners like me with 2 left feet to those who aspire to compete or teach one day. Every single instructor has been a joy to learn from. I love them all. They have two massive studios that are great for teaching and the social afterward is certainly a cherry on top! You gotta be there! You'll never regret it. Oh, and they didn't pay me for this review... I just gotta share this amazing news! You've missed out on enough dance nights so after reading this go take a free class! Keep Dancing, Orlando
