I really enjoy the black lights and the fact that they have a separate area for beginners and rent the skate helpers. They need to invest a little of their money on fixing the laces on the skates. It's a very simple process to fix them and lacing the skates wasted so much is my time because the end of everyone'sskates were frayed!
Nice place. The property seems to be in good shape. The sound system didn't have any issues. Didn't eat any of their food. I was there for s birthday party. The staff was extremely helpful. I would recommend it for childrens' birthday parties.
Great DJ interaction and family friendly location. The food was good and prices were not bad either. We enjoyed ourselves for my grandbabies birthday, and there was plenty of extra public tables. Great family atmosphere and kid, toddler friendly for younger skaters too. Love it. Highly recommend.
Fun place! I’ll mention that do have to pay for a locker if you brought stuff. You exchange your shoes for skates if you rented them and they hold your shoes behind the counter. In our experience last night, there were multiple children’s birthday parties so it was incredibly overcrowded. Kids kept skating in front of you so you have to be very aware not to get hurt. As the night went on the rink got more clear. Overall good experience and fun music and activities! The video I took was 15 minutes before closing.
I visited my first time to do a Private Lesson with Julia Holt- Julia was fantastic! At 42 years old, it can be a bit embarrassing/ nerve-racking to do something new (or again…. That you’ve forgotten) I’m (re)learning for a Special Event and thought hey, like riding a bike!!! .. but nope it’s been over 30 years and let’s be honest I don’t have a back or knees (or fearlessness) like I did when I was a kid. I wasn’t sure I even bought the right skates! She checked those as well, guided me on how she’d help adjust them, and was very reassuring. She was patient, understanding, and so fun to work with!! I never once felt embarrassed (she actually encouraged me to go slow, make a mistake, “that’s how you learn what to do when I’m not around!”) She made me feel a trillion times more comfortable and reaffirmed the trust in myself that I could be successful. I highly encourage anyone (of any age!! Or skill level to work with her!)
