When arriving to my set appt date for my test, I came across some issues with appt being changed unbeknownst to me. It was very upsetting and the process of rescheduling was even more upsetting. There is this wonderful gentleman (Chris) who saw my distress and immediately without question, offered his help. His listening skills, kind mannerisms and seamlessly deescalated interventions helped to calm my anxiety which was what I needed in such a therapeutic way. God Blessed me having Chris as if this situation was predicted. Thank you so much Cris. I came back next day to take the test, with such calm as I knew he will be there to assist if I had any further issues. Thank you so much for your kindness and humanitarian soul. I had a very positive experience today for my exam. The staff at the testing center was professional, and clear about instructions, and the facility was clean. All of this reassured me, and I'm grateful to say I passed. Highly recommend this location for any exams.
It was hot, stuffy, and stunk like floor cleaner for my entire exam. It was very distracting, especially for exams that we can't take breaks in. It's so hot in here that you all have a fan on the battery backup system for the computers. Can we get some AC in here sheesh.
The ladies who monitored IELTS should watch their attitude. If you hate your job so much you should find another job. You yourself are foreigners too there's no need to be rude when non English speakers don't understand you. That's YOUR job to make your instruction clear. Test takers are not your children you don't get to talk down to them especially some of them speak better English than you.
I'm happy for being part of this project to build the best test center in San Diego. The test center is brand new, with a comfortable check-in area, reliable connecting, many cameras in strategic point to make it safe and grant a no-cheating environment. Everything with a peaceful and calm design. We're glad to bring this infrastructure to many test takers from Pearson, ETS (TOEFL), IELTS, Kryterion etc.
