This was our first time trying Iwa Sushi and they did not disappoint. It was a great birthday meal. We had the Ring Roll, Gyoza and Hibachi shrimp and it was all delicious. Check out the portions!! Would definitely recommend and will return!
The best service of any restaurant! They’re so kind and helpful, especially when I ended up extremely late to pick up my order. They even remade the fresh sushi roll for me! Their hibachi is always quality, not greasy, and full of flavor. I would always recommend Iwa for fantastic cuisine!
This was a disappointing visit. We each got the Maki lunch special, with three rolls. The sushi rice was poorly cooked, giving it an unappealing texture. The wasabi was not spicy at all (I ate a scoop on its own to confirm), and was extremely grainy. My rolls were also very poorly wrapped, some of them falling apart when I picked them up. The presentation was pretty, and the miso soup was excellent. Overall though, I’ve had much better sushi from the grocery store.
Sashimi and rice were great. Awesome flavor and texture on the rice. Wontons were unique and tasty. Could’ve eaten another plate full. Dessert for the kids was a great touch. Parking out back, entrance on the side.
I came in an hour before closing and they were so accommodating. I ordered sashimi fatty tuna, red snapper, and salmon. The pieces were quite large compared to most places. I didn’t like the red snapper much, but the others were good. Salmon is always my favorite! I also had the American Dream roll, as well as the avocado salad. Normally you have to request extra avocado on anything but this place gave me more avocado than actual salad greens, and it was AMAZING!! Made my heart happy to eat at a restaurant that’s generous with the avocado. Presentation was colorful and creative.
