The atmosphere when you first come in is very calming and soothing with low lighting that puts you in a relaxing mood. It would be a nice place to go on a date. My husband and I both got the cheese burger and fries. They were both cooked right and had a good flavor to them. My husband thought it was too much bun for the burger itself and he's not a fan of shoestring fries but I love them. Our waiter was very on top of it with checking on us enough to make sure we were good and doing ok but not to the point we felt like he was interfering with our meal.
I’m sitting in the restaurant now, and unfortunately my experience has been disappointing. I was served my food, but no one checked on me at all after that — aside from someone looking over from another table and saying, “You good?” That was the only follow-up I received. My server packed my food and placed my ticket directly on the table without even putting it in a proper check sleeve. It felt rushed and unprofessional, more like fast food service than a high-end dining establishment. I had to ask for basic things like pepper and water, and I watched the staff engage warmly and consistently with the tables around me, but not with me. I’m not saying it was racial — but I was definitely upset by how differently I was treated. I even wanted dessert, but was never asked or given the opportunity to order it. Overall, the service fell far below what I expect from a restaurant of this level, and I won’t be back. Other high-end restaurants provide much better attention, hospitality, and professionalism. Memphis we have to do better!
Everything was exceptional. The filet was seasoned perfectly. The trout dish was delicious and I loved the Cole slaw. We had the artichoke app and the ahi tuna app. I couldn't eat the ahi tuna because I wasn't sure if it was gluten free but the rest of the table loved it. The new York strip needed a lil more seasoning would of been my only suggestion. It's the next day and I am not hurting so they didn't serve me any gluten or nuts as I am allergic. Our server was very attentive and answered all my questions. Thank you.
My dad and I was in Memphis and I wanted a good restaurant to try. We was not disappointed when the lady at our hotel recommended this one. It was a Monday night so we got right in. I had the prime rib and my dad had a chicken salad. Both were amazing. The staff was very polite and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant if you don't mind paying a premium for great food and 5 star service.
My partner and I had a wonderful experience. The food was so delicious. My medium-rare steak was perfect. The Mac and Cheese was soooo great. The waiter was attentive. The staff were friendly. I loved how we could watch the staff in the kitchen prepare meals while waiting for a table. We waited for about 3 minutes.
