Jacalyn is INCREDIBLE!! She photographed our two-day Indian-American fusion wedding in October and was outstanding from start to finish. She communicated effectively leading up to the events and throughout the weekend, somehow captured every single person (we had over 200+ guests) and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I love the mix of candid photos, detail shots, and portraits. Jacalyn brings a sense of calmness that it is really appreciated during the wedding planning process. She was also so timely in getting our previews and full gallery back to us--which is saying a lot given she photographed two full days of events. I feel so grateful that we get to relive that weekend over and over thanks to Jacalyn! I cannot say enough great things and without a doubt would recommend Jacalyn Meyvis Photography!!

I am so immensely grateful to have chosen Jacalyn as the photographer for our wedding. I consider the photography to be one of the most important vendors as they capture the bulk of the memories of that day. Jacalyn was always calm, direct, and easy-going throughout the day which made the whole experience A+. She was extremely helpful leading up to the day as well so the timeline was smooth and I never felt the need to rush. And on top of that, when we actually got our photos back, we were blown away. She captured the day and our love so beautifully. You won't regret booking Jacalyn for your next event!
We could not be more pleased with how well Jacalyn documented our wedding day! After researching photographers we decided upon her based on her classic, timeless photography as well as her personality. Myself, my husband, and our families tend to shy away from the camera at events so choosing a photographer who made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process was a very important factor for us. Jacalyn did an excellent job putting everyone at ease and almost making it feel like we were not being photographed at all! She was an absolute pleasure to be around on our wedding day and she is such a professional and calming presence, we knew that we were in great hands with her when we met in person for our engagement shoot. The photos we received from our big day (both digital and film) were so incredible and truly captured our perfect day! We cannot recommend Jacalyn enough!
We worked with Jacalyn for our May 2025 wedding and could not have been happier! We chose Jacalyn because we loved her classic and timeless photography style. She brought a calm and confident energy to the day which immediately made us feel comfortable, and captured so many fun moments throughout the night. She was very efficient with our portrait, bridal party, and family photos which allowed us to enjoy the time with our guests. Our sneak peak pictures were ready quickly and we were able to enjoy looking at them while we were on our honeymoon. When we received the full album, we were blown away at how well she captured all of the little details of our day and candid moments with our guests. We are so happy we chose to work with Jacalyn, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!
