Our wedding planning and event execution queen!!! We worked with Jackie as our full planner throughout our 8 month engagement to plan our wedding weekend at a private residence in Alabama and enjoyed every moment of working together. As an events professional myself, there is simply no other planner I trust more to develop event designs, production schedules, timelines, etc. than Jackie Fogartie Events. JFE carefully and critically problem solved with/for us throughout the process, coordinated vendors across state lines/time zones, and executed incredible events for us. Our wedding weekend included multiple room flips to transform the main living space into our rehearsal dinner location, ceremony space and reception dinner seating area. Jackie and her team met every challenge with a “can do” attitude that kept our families and us at ease. The venue is in a remote location on a steep hillside with very minimal parking. Jackie worked closely with all our vendors to develop a production schedule to layer in their individual needs and limitations in order to create a seamless load in/out. Jackie jumped right into wedding planning with us and offered us steady confidence, proven expertise, welcomed humor, and exceptional attention to detail. We are grateful for her guidance along the way and thankful to have forged a forever friendship in the process!
I got married back in June, so this long overdue, but I could not recommend Jackie Fogartie events enough. Absolutely one of the best decisions I made in my entire wedding planning process! I worked with Amanda (INCREDIBLE!) to coordinate, and she went above and beyond at every turn. She became a quick friend that I could come to with any question or random thought. When my husband had a fun, unconventional idea, she and Jackie jumped in to make it happen (and make it better than we could have thought!). When the weather threatened rain, she talked me through our options to come up with the best plan. When I had a challenge with the venue at the eleventh hour, she (alongside Jackie) stepped in to work with the venue, go to bat for me, make me feel comfortable, and re-assure me that the weekend was going to be perfect, which it was! The weekend of the wedding, I didn't have to think of a single thing except celebrating my marriage with my husband, family and friends, and to me, that is worth its weight in gold. Jackie Fogartie Events = 1000/10!
If you are thinking of hiring Jackie - do NOT hesitate! She planned our wedding and I don’t know if it could have happened without her. Where we were married, while beautiful, doesn’t do as many weddings are other venues and she had never planned one at the venue before but Jackie handled it masterfully. We put her through so much - tearful calls about forecasts, the Head chef quitting two weeks before, an intense cookie table, you name it and she was always cool, calm, and collected. We had to pivot last minute because of the forecast and she was incredibly supportive and helpful but not pushy - she wants it to be your day just the best version of it possible. She has an incredible eye, each design meeting we were in awe of her ideas and the set-up ended up gorgeous. My in-laws used her for the rehearsal dinner which was amazing because her designs for both complemented perfectly without being matchy. She’s very funny and keeps you at ease. All the bridesmaids and I were wishing she would just hang out with us while getting ready but she was busy making the day perfect. She organized the vendors incredibly well and has really good relationships with them - you can tell they like working with her. Jackie was the best decision for the wedding we made (other than deciding to marry my now husband)! Jealous of who she gets to work with next!!
Jackie was FANTASTIC! She made our wedding weekend smooth and flawless - truly nothing went wrong or was stressful, thanks to her. She is extremely organized, responsive and connected with the Charlotte community. Most importantly, she shows deep care for each and every couple she works with and made our wedding weekend memorable beyond belief. We are so thankful for Jackie and she is the highest quality of wedding planner!
Jackie helped to plan our September 2023 wedding and my husband and I couldn’t be more grateful we found her! Jackie planned a friends weddings in 2022 and after attending her phenomenal wedding and hearing how wonderful she was we had to have her! From the very first conversation with Jackie I knew she was the perfect fit! Jackie makes planning a wedding fun and she knows her stuff! Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT in every single way and I truly believe that would not have been possible without Jackie! She thought of every detail big and small and made it so that I could enjoy the day without worry! Our guests had an absolute blast and we had the best vendors, all thanks to Jackie’s recommendations and guidance! She’s also a wonderful person to spend time with during the planning process! Would hire her a thousand times over and my husband and family feel the same!
