This lady is very unprofessional. She accepted an offer for a showcase and I made expensive plans (I don't live in the area) to come pick it up and she sold it from under me. What a terrible business. Who would want to do business with them? I'm sure I'm not the only one. If you click on the photo my proof will show.

Ordered an Access soft case online from these folks. Mary Jo was instrumental in ensuring the order was correct. Good price, nice people. Smells like the old band room I remember from 50 years ago when you walk in. Thanks!

I had an excellent experience with Beth at Jackson’s Music in Winston-Salem, NC. I needed to have two dulcimers appraised for insurance purposes. Beth did an amazing job, even contacting the builders for detailed information. I could not have been more impressed and happy with the wonderful service Beth provided. I highly recommend Jackson’s Music.

AMAZING repair job done on my bass by Timothy. I'm from Greensboro and was skeptical on driving all the way to Winston for a bass repair, but boy was it worth it! Will absolutely make the drive again next time I need some work done.

First off, this local shop has, hands down, the best luthier that I have ever encountered. I brought in a heavily damaged 1972 Epiphone and Timothy Corts, restoration king, welcomed the challenge. This guitar held high sentimental value to my wife's family. This was her grandfather's guitar who had just recently passed away. You could tell that it hadn't had any sort of TLC for quite some time but we wanted to bring it back to it's original glory. So, from New York to North Carolina, this guitar traveled to be doctored up. Timothy not only did this guitar justice, he added so many nuisances that showed that he has an innate attention to detail. He hand carves the saddle and nut from bone, he designed a bridge that created immaculate action, he installed a bridge doctor that ensured that this guitar could live another 50 years. Tim knows guitars and better yet, he loves his craft which I really respect. This restoration has meant the absolute world to us and our family is eternally grateful for bringing a precious family heirloom back to life. Cheers to Jackson's music and double cheers to Tim, you all are amazing!! Please support your local shops, I know for a fact that the bigger places i.e. Guitar Center would not put the amount of care and detail into an instrument as Jackson's has for myself. Note: The before picture doesn't accurately show that the bridge was literally popping off of the guitar. This bridge was screwed in and Tim had to unwary the wood and build a new bridge. If you zoom into the before picture, you can see a lot of dust on the top of the bridge, showing that it had been raised.
