I had Mark, a brand new local boy. Although a little quiet, he was informative & seemed to know what he was doing. When he started to massage my left shoulder, he was barely applying any pressure at all. I told him to go harder, twice & he gladly cooperated.
The physical therapists at JACO are great! Isabel was awesome to work with! She was very patient with me!! I like the fact that JACO offers very early hours. Most offices don't open until 8am. They open at 6am which made it convenient for me. I highly recommend JACO and would definitely go there again.
Pre-op PT for knee replacement: Ashlynn, John, and Janelle provided more information and advice than my dr has. Their knowledge, skill, and patience have me as prepared as I can be. So grateful for them. JACO is by far the best place I’ve ever gone to for PT.

I came in with a stubborn frozen shoulder that made everyday tasks—reaching overhead, driving, even sleeping—painful and frustrating. From day one, Mara listened closely, explained what was happening in plain language, and laid out a clear, realistic plan. Her sessions combined targeted manual therapy with smart, progressive exercises that actually made sense for my life. She tracked my range of motion each visit, adjusted when something wasn’t working, and celebrated the small wins that kept me motivated. Within weeks I noticed less pain and better movement; now I’m back to sleeping through the night and reaching overhead without thinking about it. The Honolulu clinic is spotless and well-organized, the front desk is friendly and efficient, and scheduling was easy. I always felt supported, never rushed, and totally confident in the care I received. Mahalo to Mara and the JACO team for getting me from frozen and frustrated to functional and pain-free. Excellent care at the Beretania site. I was impressed by the efficiency of this place. Reception was always punctual and quick. The therapists were extremely knowledgeable and provided professional, compassionate care, listening to my needs and offering solutions. I recommend them without hesitation.
