Didn’t realize it was a food truck type situation but it was still awesome coffee. I only went with a cold brew but other people in line were ordering a large variety of other drinks that seemed to be excellent quality. People serving the drinks were incredibly nice and gave great feedback on their drinks. Look forward to coming back.

Coffee Shop No. 509 Jacobs Bear Coffee San Antonio, TX June 10, 2025 From trailer to table — Jacobs Bear Coffee is serving up a world class cortado worth saluting. The husband and wife duo are roasting up delicious coffee beans then turning them into some fine espresso drinks. Normally when I visit coffee trailers their specialties are “fancy” lattes or mochas loaded with sugar, whip cream and sprinkles. Don’t get me wrong some of these drinks are fabulous, but I prefer the simplicity of a cortado. I can’t remember if the cortado was on Jacobs Bear’s menu, but I asked for one. The barista caught my attention when he said something about how they even have the right size cup cortados. My first thought was, “Oh goody. This guy knows cortados.” And he did. This was definitely of the top cortados I had while in San Antonio (I visited 15 in total). Jacobs Bear Coffee is proof that big flavor and high quality coffee can be served with excellent customer service. They value our military by providing a discount. If you’re ever in downtown San Antonio take a morning stroll over to S Main Avenue and Stumberg. You’ll be glad you did! Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

I went to this small food truck ish coffee shop, the other when I was taking care of some business near by. I like that when I came up to the window they were friendly and attentive. I like that even though it seems like the only have coffee they were able to give me my match latte. The latte was good, highly recommend. They even give a card to return four times or so and the fifth is free. A security near by said they were too expensive but I was satisfied with my drink and the price. Enjoy if you are near by.

I was on the search for a cup of coffee within walking distance of our hotel and I discovered Jacob's Bear Coffee. I'm so glad that I stopped by because their Cold brew with cold foam and a light hint of pistachio was exactly what I was looking for this morning. Also, the customer service is definitely top notch. Do not pass up on your chance to get a cup of coffee from this cute little trailer in downtown San Antonio, I highly recommend.
