Honestly it was so good. Not sure why the ratings are so low. Jerk chicken is different from what I’m used to back in FL but sooo good. Beef patty was perfect. Service was also great and quick. Can’t wait to come back.

If I could give a zero I would food taste like is not fresh. Specially the meat, it was dry and taste like it was made days ago. I’m praying I don’t get sick. Food used to be good. Sadly not anymore. I got beef ribs for $22 that’s crazy, no meat on the ribs, don’t waste your money.

The flavors here are bold and authentic, and the quality of the food really shines. Their plantains are hands-down the best I’ve had in Boston—perfectly caramelized on the outside and soft, sweet on the inside. Every entrée comes with two sides, which is generous, but I do wish they structured the meals as rice + two sides instead. For example, it’s hard to fully enjoy dishes like curry chicken without a base like rice to soak up all that amazing sauce. When I order, I typically choose an entrée and plantains as one side, but I often wish I could add just a little coleslaw on the plate without having to get a full side. Offering entrées with three sides, or rice plus two sides, could make the experience even better. They also offer a “Today’s Special” menu every day with 3–4 rotating dishes, which keeps things fresh and gives you a reason to come back often. The prices may seem a little high at first glance, but they’re right on target considering the downtown location and the quality of the food. The portions are satisfying, the flavors are spot on, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Jamaica Mi Hungry is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Jamaican comfort food with a modern, downtown twist.

I like it, been going to Jamaica MI hungry establishments for years. They have some really nice entrees. I've tried almost all of the entrees. They're all very good. Only thing that this place is lacking is in their rice and peas.(It's not horrible just different) But depending on what I get I usually get white rice anyways. I will keep coming to your establishment. I wish you continued success

I had an amazing experience at Jamaica Mi Hungry! The flavors are authentic, and the food is absolutely delicious. The jerk chicken was perfectly spiced, tender, and full of flavor. The rice and peas were a great complement, and the plantains were perfectly sweet and crispy. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. If you're looking for a true taste of Jamaica, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
