I wouldn’t recommend it. While I was impressed with the $600 price for four days a week, two hours a day, it was $100 cheaper than a school in Independence, making it a more convenient option. However, I had to explain to the individual why they could not get their license, which I felt was not my job. After every session, they were left more confused and felt defeated by some of the comments made. The person expressed that the trainer was rude and abrasive, showing little patience as they tried to learn how to drive. Despite this, I believe every mishap can be seen as an opportunity for growth. Although the individual didn’t want to continue the lessons, I insisted.

I wanted to get my drivers license and had some experience driving, so I signed up for the eight hour package. Reggie is very knowledgeable about driving and gave a lot of information and ways to think about driving that I feel like really helped me to improve my driving and understand how good and bad driving looks and feels like. With all of that said, Reggie was a bit hesitant to take me to the test because there were times that I was not demonstrating I was in control of the vehicle, but he did take me and even showed me a couple of roads he said they might take me on and essentially gave me a prestest and had me parallel park and park in the parking lot. He gave pointers on everything and right before the test reviewed basics with me. The test was a lot easier than the practice sessions and I felt that I was able to apply the information I had been taught, and I passed! Very happy to have not only my license but also a more robust skill set than when I started.

Stress free way to teach your kids how to drive. I sent both of my son’s. They had been practicing already but with time constraints we couldn’t take the time to take them driving. So one of my friends suggested this school. The driver picked them up separately of course and taught them the basics and took them driving. Totally prepared them for the test! Both boys got a certificate and we took them the following week to take the test and they both passed! Definitely a good school with good instructors! Thanks James Driving school!

Anxiety ain’t got nothing on me, I got my drivers license! 🥹🪪 Thanks to James Smith Driving School they were patient, set me up for success, and took me to do my test. Truly a small price to pay for a lifetime skill. I even got a certificate that gives me a discount on my insurance. I highly recommend them for anybody who wants to take the leap and get their license but aren’t sure where to start. 🫶🏾✨
