Not sure how I feel about this mechanic, I took my car in for a new alternator, however, it was caused by an oil leak (was told by a different mechanic later on) my thing is when JB was working on my car he could have called and told me about the oil leak since he already was working on my alternator however he decided to tell me once he finished working on my car, told me I had an oil leak that I would eventually need to fix but he didnt tell me this was the reason for my alternator failing. He wanted me to come back and pay another 900 on top of the 540 I had already paid him for a new alternator which had i waited any longer I would have to buy another new alternator because the oil leak. Felt dishonesty and a salesy vibe from him. It is very hard to find an honest mechanic nowadays , beware. And yes you (JB) did quote me 900 for the oil leak when I came to pick up my car. In fact I texted you that I dont have the 900 and I didnt get a response. Also why aren't you acknowledging anything else I wrote about, you could have called me and told me about the oil leak while working on the alternator, but you decided to tell me when I came to pick up my car. This just seems like u didnt want to fix my car but wanted to milk me from my money 😔

We were temporarily in Bakersfield when our car battery died. Joe gave us good advice over the phone and was willing to stay late to work on our car so we wouldn’t have to spend the night. We didn’t end up needing his services, but appreciated the fact that he was there for us. He is definitely somebody I would use if I lived in Bakersfield .
