Just over a year ago my 8yr old daughter had been learning drums for a few months with a local instructor, but for various reasons I was seeking an alternative. After failing to engage a couple of local people, I came across Jonny’s profile online. I understand some people may feel skeptical about remote music lessons, however we’d already had a positive experience with her remote piano instructor, so decided to give drum lessons with Jonny a go… and so incredibly pleased we did! Just over a year later and I can confidently say Jonny is a fantastic, patient, skilled, friendly, professional and motivating drum instructor. He has worked to build a wonderful rapport with us, and is incredibly encouraging for my daughter whilst demonstrating strong diagnostic skills and clear instruction. Since learning with Jonny, my daughter looks forward to her weekly lessons and has found enjoyment to practice regularly in between. Earlier this week my daughter passed her Grade 1 exam with a merit. Jonny’s dedication and support in helping to prepare her for this event was paramount in building her confidence, technical skills and uncharacteristically “chill” attitude which undoubtedly helped her with this achievement. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start their journey learning drums!

Jonny is a fabulous drumming teacher. He has a lovely friendly approach, is very enthusiastic, and is so patient. My grandson has had approx 12 lessons now, is doing incredibly well, and absolutely loves his drumming lessons. If you are looking for a drumming teacher, I can’t recommend Jonny highly enough

What Jonny has achieved with me over these past few months is nothing short of astounding & is a true testament to his brilliance as a teacher & musician. He’s got the patience of a saint and always extremely encouraging, especially at times when you don’t think you’re ever going to get it! I’ve wanted to return to music for the longest time and drums was something I have always wanted to learn but I didn’t think I’d be able to grasp! Yet, here I am, 40yrs old and thanks to Jonny, I’m living my best little drummer life and loving every second of it!! I can’t recommend him enough!!

Jonny has been teaching me guitar for just under 12 months, and after many failed attempts at teaching myself, he’s finally given me the tools to genuinely enjoy playing. His teaching style suits me perfectly, and his patience and encouragement whenever I’ve struggled have made a huge difference.
