JC Ballroom is a 10/10! The instructors are so talented, knowledgeable and fun. Both the group sessions and private lessons are great, and the open houses are a fun way to interact with everyone. Highly recommend, coming from someone who arrived as a true beginner.

We were visiting Jersey City from SLC and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. Ron was our teacher for the salsa lesson. Excellent one-on-one attention, it could have been a private lesson with how much we learned. We hope to make it back for another lesson next time we are in town! Would highly recommend this place.

I showed up to JCB 3 years ago with little dance experience. The instructors there are some the best you will find! Their prices are also lower than NYC and the quality is just as good! I have competed with their ballroom twice and both times I placed 1st 🥇 The front desk is also very attentive and provides the best recommendations for scheduling and getting the most out of your dance experience. Check this place out if you haven’t already💃🏻

We took first-dance lessons at Jersey City Ballroom with Hannah B for our wedding, and the entire experience was an absolute joy! We genuinely looked forward to our biweekly classes. It became the perfect built-in date night amid all the wedding planning stress. Over the course of 4–5 months, we learned so much and saw real progress. Hannah was the sweetest, most patient teacher. She created a routine that struck the perfect balance - polished and intentional without feeling overly choreographed. When our wedding day arrived, we felt completely prepared, and our first dance turned out even better than we imagined. We can’t wait to return to Jersey City Ballroom for more lessons now as husband and wife!

We worked primarily with Enxhi for our wedding dance. Neither of us had done any formal or informal dance instruction prior to working with the studio. It is clear they love choreographing dances for weddings and they are great at it! We had all the time we needed to practice and make sure we were ready by the time of the wedding. We got so many compliments after the dance and it was a ton of fun all the way through. They even gave us the opportunity to perform in front of a crowd before the wedding day, which really helped get us ready.
