Website says open 7am -12 am Sunday. I call they answer, i ask if they have a 255/45R19 tire he says no they don't and their closed on Sundays 👀 How did you answer the phone at the shop and say you don't have a specific tire if your closed. Why answer the business phone at all. Unless 🤔you Heard my voice then decided to say your closed
They charged me over $120 for an inspection and minor repair that took 15 minutes. Also a 8 hour wait. Even after call about an early morning appointment almost a week in advance. Please, please, please dont come here. I hate dispairiging a small business but this is what happened. I really don't know what's going on here, or what scam this is but please, don't come here. Oh, and one of them asked if i was "mixed race"
It brings me great sadness to leave a review with one star, however, I would leave zero if it were possible for my visit to Joe’s service center today. I brought my 2020 well maintained and regularly serviced outback in for an inspection (nothing more) only to be hit with a nearly $70 bill full of miscellaneous charges that I was not informed of prior to the work being done. This included an $11 charge for removing and installing new registration sticker (no this is not a joke). Assuming that took about 2 minutes that is approximately $330 an hour labor cost for the sticker. Are they hiring because that’s sure a lot more than I make hourly ! Addition charges included a test drive and tire removal ($10), inspect and fill fluids to proper levels ($10), computer communication access ($5), brake fluid ($2.25) , washer fluid ($5.5). None of this work beyond the inspection was disclosed to me in advance nor was any of it necessary (I regularly top off my own fluids and have the dealer service the car approx every 10,000 miles). I should add there was an added $36 labor charge for all of the above. I will never be returning to this shop again for anything including gasoline and neither should anyone reading this review. What a scam I can’t believe it.
I moved to Buffalo 6 years ago and needed my car worked on. I took it to Joe's because I felt comfortable with the guy on the phone Patrick. I have been a happy customer every year. No matter what is wrong with my Honda Mark (the owner) fixes it. The service is quick and the prices are so much lower than the dealer's prices. The best part of using Joe's Service Center is that they are friendly, honest, and they are taking good care of my car!
I went in recently looking for a diagnostic, as my car had a check engine light. I told the person I spoke to that I wanted a quote, as I was confident I could fix it myself but their website hinted they had the most reasonable prices around. They took it in and said they’d give me a call/quote before operating on the vehicle, and that it’d be ready by 4 that day. I received a call around 6, saying they were done working on my vehicle. I never gave permission to operate on it. I arrived around 630, and they said they were almost finished completing paperwork, and to just stick around a few moments. I stood in the shop for over an hour and a half (until after 8PM) while paperwork was being done. I got the paperwork, and they explained their may be an issue with my vehicle’s thermostat, so they filled my coolant up. I was charged ~$150 for having my coolant filled up and them using the diagnostic tool. I never would’ve agreed to such a steep price for having someone fill my coolant and drive my car around the block. This also did not fix my problem. I did not return because, if it costs $150 to add coolant, I couldn’t begin to imagine the cost to replace a thermostat. In summary, I was displeased with my experience. The price did not match the labor in my eyes (adding coolant..?), and it was a significant wait. I ordered a thermostat for $25 and fixed it myself in less than 30 minutes, solving the problem. Two stars instead of one because they were at least kind people.
