Mary and Lucy are a true blessing and have been absolutely amazing throughout my custody case. Mary is organized, responsive, supportive, and truly cares about my children’s best interest; and Lucy is knowledgeable, confident, and genuinely caring. I had been going through my custody case without representation for years and it was mentally draining, and I don’t have enough legal knowledge to do it alone. Mary has been making a stressful process feel manageable, and I’m so grateful for her dedication in protecting my children. Highly recommend!!

This was not the experience I was expecting. My Paralegal team changed at least 3 times, I was asked for information that I had previously sent. and I was charged for it each time. We had a situation at my daughters day care that my attorney said if I wanted she would intervene, I accepted but no action was taken. I was told that prior to my CFI meetings my attorney and I would meet. The meetings with my attorney never happened. The opposing council submitted an emergency custody order, I did all the work on that issue. I feel like I was pressured to accept the opposing councils offer, even after I was told what I wanted was fair and we would fight for every penny due to my daughter. We had more phone calls and emails during the last week then I had the rest of the case. Most of the interaction was my attorney telling me that the court would frown on me for what I was asking " its only a difference of $100" ( again, I was told that my attorney would fight for every penny owed to my daughter) or I might not get anything, or that the back and forth of my attorney and I was a mounting bill, and me stating it does not have to be a back and forth ( thinking I was ready for court) the back and forth continue until I agreed ( I was charged for every back and forth). I dont want to leave out that my witnesses nor I received the questions that was going to be asked in court. I believe we did not get questions because my attorney never wanted or was prepared for court. I requested my Attorney to send a clarification email and cc me, but I am still waiting for that. An attorney friend ( i had not known before I started with April Jones) stated that April was a good attorney when she practiced and that she has not control over actions her attorneys do now that she is not active, and that this is busines, and now I know. I wish I knew April before I spent almost 60,000.

I had a very disappointing experience with Jones Law Firm. I was billed for several items that were never authorized, including internal discussions and administrative emails after I had specifically told them to pause all billable work. Despite multiple requests for billing clarification, they avoided sending an invoice until the end of the month—after more questionable charges were added. Communication was unprofessional and disorganized, and even the attorney referral they provided was for the wrong type of representation. I expected transparency and integrity, but instead felt misled and overcharged. I would strongly caution others to review every charge carefully before trusting this firm with any retainer funds.

Had a great experience with Amanda Garcia. Hardest thing to find is a lawyer that have and maintain good communication and amanda did a great job doing that! Always replied within hours and answered every question i had. Also the outcome was better than i thought.
