Josephine’s was fantastic! The catfish and onion rings were delicious and paired perfectly with an Old Fashioned. Finished with their chocolate sheet cake and vanilla ice cream — incredible. Can’t wait to come back!

Reynaldo greeted us immediately & showed us to a table, zero wait time for dinner service. My wife and I had never been here before. What a pleasant surprise in the Pearl!!! The question with sausage was HUGE! I then ordered a steak & my wife ordered 7oz peppercorn filet. Both orders were prepared perfectly! The chef was familiar with black & blue cooking styles. We recommend this place to all who are thinking of a visit to SA! Thank you very much for the fantastic service!!! We will be back!

I've heard about Josephine Street from friends and it's always gotten great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I got the chicken fried chicken plate with their house fries and it was terrific, the crust was flaky and flavorful the chicken was succulent and the gravy delicious. I got the house fries and they were good maybe a touch more seasoning but very good and the onion ring was a good size and thickness and what I really enjoyed was once I bit into it the crust didn't fall apart. My wife got the 9oz prime rib steak and it was cooked to perfection a nice char with a hot pink center. She also got the load mash potatoes and they were creamy and delicious with a good texture. We also got the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream blue bell I think and it was dessert heaven. Will definitely be back to try out more items.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here yesterday evening. The service from our server JOCELYN was top notch. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was very quick to take our orders for drinks, appetizers, and entrees (but didn’t rush us) and always kept our drinks filled with refills. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant itself is very quaint and cozy. The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken fried steak with white gravy and my boyfriend ordered the El Rey burger and we both thoroughly enjoyed them as well as our Cajun-seasoned French fries, mashed potatoes, and onion rings. There are so many great options in the menu it was so hard to choose just one thing. We will 100% be back to try more in the future :) best part is.. it was extremely AFFORABLE. We both ate for a grand total of only $50… very low prices considering the location at the Pearl. I highly recommend to all of my friends & family.
