My first time at this restaurant was very pleasant. I came here for a friend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Although my friends weren’t very impressed with their food, I enjoyed mine. We ordered the cornbread to start and though the taste was good, we wished it were bigger. Not really enough to share, honestly. The birthday girl ordered the fried chicken which came with biscuits and pickles, and she requested a side of macaroni and cheese. I sampled her Mac and cheese and it was nice and cheesy, but the smoked Gouda flavor was overwhelming. My other friend ordered the collard greens which were delicious! For my plate, I ordered the braised short rib with asparagus and yams which was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this dish! Drinks were great, albeit pricey. Other than my food, our waiter, Tony, was so accommodating and helpful. He made our experience so welcoming, it felt like home. Overall, Joyce is a good place for brunch or a dinner date. Will definitely be back!

Came for a last minute dinner as it was close to my hotel. Left incredibly impressed. The cocktails were scrumptious and the food was outstanding. The price was great! Hope to come back.

Excellent on all fronts! The cocktails were scrumptious. My group ordered shrimp and grits, mac and cheese, scallops, and catfish. Each dish was delicious.

This place is a little lay back. Vibes for causality. Really comfortable atmosphere. The server was good and attended to what you order or ask if you wanted to make a different choice. Foods was real good nicely seasoned

The vibe, the decor, and the staff are wonderful. The food, I'm sorry but I was very disappointed. The mac & cheese didn't have any flavor. There were chopped pecans on top of the fried chicken. The shrimp and grits left a lot to be desired. The hashbrowns were like grocery store hash browns. There are so many better potato options that can replace store bought hash browns. I heard the fish was really good. I didn't try it. The fried pickles were tasty. The best item was their cornbread and butter. It was prepared to perfection. Cool mimosas with frozen fruit juice cubes.
