Went for a work social at 19:10 but couldn't get in due to people not having physical photo IDs. Unfortunately this sort of is what it is. This review is mostly just a complaint about the policy. I will clarify, absolutely my fault, it did say on the booking confirmation. I did not read the booking confirmation (my bad). However, at ten past seven a group of 24 and 25 year olds would be able to go in pretty much any pub I can think of without ID, especially accompanied by a 30 year old, a 35 year old and a 50 year old as well were. The doorman was also a bit unpleasant. I get he spends a lot of time dealing with miserable drunks, but at ten past seven I'd have appreciated being spoken to more like an adult (lol maybe I do look like a child). The main issue I had with him was that when I said "I don't have an ID" he asked me how old I was. I then said "24" because I'm 24. He then went on a loop explaining how a challenge 25 policy works... This would have been very reasonable if I'd have argued, but I never did. I also have worked in a bar, I know how challenge 25 works, and I know that the situation wasn't his fault (it was my own) so I wasn't annoyed, just upset that I'd let the team down by not passing on important info. The manager also came and spoke to us and was lovely. The last point I'd make is that while they do tell you that you'll need ID, they demonstrably don't do it well enough to curb the expectation that people won't need it, as the guy behind us also didn't have his ID and wasn't aware.

We had some quick fun here with my daughter yesterday afternoon. My issue is that when I asked for the price, I was simply told £9.50. There was no mention of the £12.50 unlimited option offer, which I noticed later on the website.

Dragged friends along after returning years later. Great fun and really great value. We got all three courses for £12pp. The courses were all suoer fun and varied in difficulty. Cocktails were really cheap as well and good value. All in all a cool places with a great atmosphere.

A cheap and cheerful after work get together. It was a fun hour to unwind after work. We had a good game for £11 each where we all learned we aren't actually that good at putting. If you have some time to kill in Manchester it's a good place to do it. Also try the cocktails although they are a little overpriced! Also remember to bring a spare pair of trousers in case you get a hole in one!

SO. MUCH. FUN! We came in for a fun evening whilst staying locally in Manchester for my birthday weekend…. and we’re so glad we did! Right from the start, the staff were so friendly and energetic, recommending cocktails and showing us what’s in the happy hour offer. There’s cocktails were fun and not just dull drinks in a glass - some come in metal tins and coconut shells, some have do-it-yourself elements like the fizz whiz powder! There’s then three amazing courses you can do, and with the VIP ticket you get unlimited goes on the entire thing. There is courses were 9 holes a piece, and each course was different, yet interactive and fun to play. Absolutely would recommend coming in - it’s affordable and fun for everyone.
