This was a full strip and sand, as well as fixing two veneer bubbles, then fresh stain and polish. I bought a small French antique wine cupboard from an online auction. The condition was much worse than it appeared in the photos. It is for a little weatherboard cottage at Leura so I wanted to keep its rustic character. James and his team did a masterful job. As requested, they kept the patina, magically reduced the red tinge in the timber, fixed the broken door and added a soft matt finish to the surface. The touch of Japanese black was a stroke of genius! Such a good job and now the little cupboard will last another 100 years or more. Thank you so much James and your team. Jenny.
