I highly recommend Jack from JWS Removals. Jack was able to fit my son’s removal in at short notice. Jack was upfront on the price and is fully insured. Jack and Dex arrived on time and were very efficient, professional and friendly. They had covers to protect the furniture and tied it down appropriately to avoid damage. It was a joy working with Jack and you can’t say that often when moving house.
Jack Stafford and his company (JWS Removals Canberra) are by far the best removalists we have ever used — we cannot recommend them highly enough! Jack and his team went above and beyond in carefully moving our belongings, including a piano, antique furniture, and several large terracotta pots containing cherished citrus trees. He also repacked our items into a storage locker with absolute expertise. Jack was jovial, courteous, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We will most definitely be using Jack again for all future moves!
Using JWS was such an excellent choice of ours. It started when I was looking for pricing: Jack communicated effectively, and started with their WHS and insurance details, then told us how they would do the move. Their prices were competitive - so they were the obvious choice. Straight away the benefits started: a week before the move Jack then dropped off about 30 plastic tubs, avoiding all of that issue of looking for cardboard boxes, and then disposing of them afterwards. On the move day Jack even disclosed that they have had the boxes made from recycled plastics - environment excellence everywhere, I'm surprised in hindsight that all removalists don't do this. The move itself was smooth, effective and quick. They carefully loaded our furniture, and unloaded at the other end. They showed extra care (above and beyond expectation) for our furniture and houses aat both ends. And to top it all off, they were excellent to talk to - about a wide variety of topics. I suggest you ask open questions - you'll be surprised at the answer you get from Jack (and Dex). We highly recommend them.
Jack and his team are amazing, with no task being too hard. They moved my extremely heavy marble slab dining table with great care. Disassembling it at pick up, wrapping it moving blankets, and then reassembled it at my new home. They take such care in moving your furniture that this is the second time I have used them. Thanks guys you are absolutely the best.
Kingston to Barton - best Removalist experience I have had. Communication when booking the job was easy. Very upfront with charges and easy to book. They turned up on time. Jack is knowledgeable, efficient and so is his team mate Dex. They absolutely exceeded expectations!! I have had some horror stories from previous Canberra moves. If only a I had known about this team earlier. They were quick, diligent, took all due care. I would trust them with all goods (which is hard to find in Canberra). I can’t thank them enough for the positive customer service and reliable, efficient and wonderful experience. I have used so many other companies and rate this business the best! Just by speaking to Jack over the phone you can already tell his professionalism. I can honestly say I hope more people use them as they far outdo the competition out there.
