Outstanding time here! Service was overall very good. The water park is alot of fun. Your kids will love it. Huge arcade and lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel is obviously family oriented but i love how they also cater to adults. They have adult pools and swim up bars. Kids play all day in water park and parents drink and have time to their self. Restaurants were very good overall and there are several of them. My daughter and i came here for news years and they did a good job of putting on a great new years party.

We had an absolute blast at Kalahari Waterpark in Round Rock with the whole family—perfect escape in the "middle of winter" when it's somehow 85 degrees in January here in Texas! The massive indoor waterpark is incredible: tons of thrilling slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and more that kept the kids entertained for hours. They couldn't get enough of the rides! We splurged on a cabana rental, which was totally worth it—private space, dedicated wait staff for food/drinks, and even a safe for valuables. Made the day so relaxing. Adults loved chilling at the swim-up bars and other spots with great cocktails. Super fun vibe all around. This was our third visit (twice last year), and we're already planning at least four trips this year. Can't wait to go back—highly recommend for families!

A true piece of paradise in Texas. It’s a great place for people of all ages. There are plenty of activities for kids and teens to do. Be aware not everything is included in your water park pass. The surfing 🏄 in the indoor water park, escape rooms and arcade are extra charge. There are also several dining options to choose from. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Each room is stocked with essentials like bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mini fridge, extra blankets and pillows. I loved the amenities at this resort. The gym was very nice. I enjoyed browsing the African themed art throughout and checking out all the shops. Check in a breeze. You will get bracelets to open your room door and also be used for purchases in the resort.

Kalahari is a great place to stay! Everything was incredibly clean. Pros: - The place is huge but well organized - There are multiple dining options - Very family friendly - Everything is clean - One half is focused on the water park and family area, the other half has a convention area and is more adult focused - The rooms are quiet - The staff was friendly - The valet was incredibly kind, friendly, and fast Cons: - They gave my reservation to a colleague. When I tried to explain, they couldn’t (wouldn’t help). At checkout, they had our names messed up, the receipts were inaccurate, etc. That was really frustrating. - My shower curtain had mold. - It was a bit pricey

Definitely coming back here and recommending to family friends. There is so much to do and see here. It was quite expensive but we got their fall deals and it was so worth it. It is about 3hours drive from Dallas and gave us such an awesome family weekend getaway. We still had acess to the Waterpark all day on the day we checked out which was incredible.
