We went here two weeks in a row and the shrimp tacos were amazing! We came back a third and fourth time and were disappointed both times. It seems the shrimp were refried twice just to warm them up(which dried them out and way too much batter) and the tortillas were stale and old. Not worth the $6 per taco.

Godspeed to my brothers and sisters at Kanak attack. Do ya’ll see this chicken katsu?!? It’s crispy and juicy, plus they have generous portions of the Mac and rice on the side.

We got poke, brisket and tacos from the food truck and it was all AMAZING! The spicy Ahi poke bowl in particular is outstanding. Make sure to get some of the canned Hawaiian Sun juices, they are *very* hard to find on the mainland! Staff is awesome and quick to get your food out!

Wow! I just got back on from Hawaii, the big Island where my brother has lived for over two decades. He managed to get me hooked on Hawaiian style poke (“everyone knows the best stuff is at the market there”). So now that I’m a Hawaiian Poke junkie I’ve been looking for somewhere here in the land of the potato to satisfy my craving… I stumbled across Kanak at the Tree Fort Festival and now I can honestly say: “Everyone knows the best Hawaiian poke comes from Kanak here in Idaho.” So unless you want to hop a flight to the islands this is your place for the best poke! Not only that but the warmth of the crew was amazing! Thank you.

We stopped here off the greenbelt this morning on a bike ride. Was definitely impressed with the chicken- It was very good and so tender it was savory. The Mac Salad was great too. Grilled veggies a bit peppery but still groovy. Staff was friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend.
