We actually had Kapili Roofing do three things for us. Requested a whole roof inspection report for insurance purposes. The inspectors were so polite and asked permission for every area they were accessing. The report was very detailed and well documented with photos. We knew we needed the roof of a patio addition redone and asked for a quote. Reasonable price. They completed the work in a day. Replaced some rotted wood underneath and fixed the connection of the seam between roof and patio addition better than it had originally been installed. I wasn’t experiencing any leaks so I was pleasantly surprised that a section of rotted wood was replaced - it will probably prevent a future problem. The crew was also so respectful and nice. Cleaned every bit of evidence that they were ever there. An Inspector follows up to check on the work. I told him we found out we needed the garage roof redone too. He suggested the most reasonable “fix” after sharing the pros and cons of different methods. We went with the coating as suggested and now the garage roof looks great too. Kapili Roofing and Painting is probably the most customer service oriented company I’ve ever worked with. They provided excellent communication on job status and seem to check and double-check everything…and EVERYONE was so friendly! I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Kapili Roofing and Painting did an excellent job on our roof. We appreciate the quality work and feel protected with the GAF golden pledge warranty. At times I needed to initiate the communication but they did well to respond.

Excellent communication on the status of the job. Work crew was courteous, respectful and neat. Will be using them again on the lower roofing in the future.

Earlier this year, they were hired to paint the complex that I live in. I noticed that there was some damage to my front light while they were working on my building. The sensor was no longer upright and was dangling. I understand that accidents happen so I was hoping someone would leave a note and say, "Sorry we broke your sensor, let us replace your light for you." However, there was no one owning up to the damage. I informed my resident manager, and he eventually gave my landlord's phone number for them to contact. My landlord received a message from Kapili that they would look into the issue. Months passed by and there wasn't any further contact by that person. After following up again, my landlord found out that person no longer works there and someone else said they will look into it. We are still yet to receive a response. We were hoping it would not take long to look into an issue for a light worth $50, but I guess this is not a concern for them. I know they moved my light around to paint around it because sometimes the light would block the door and prevent me from opening it. Good thing I wasn't inside my apartment at the time they were painting or else I wouldn't be able to get out without breaking the light. It would be good if their workers were more mindful of what they moved and put things back in place.

I appreciate all the work the guys at kapili has done. They arrived on time and they all worked really well together and always cleaned up each day. They even continue cleaning in the rain pour. Each morning their dump truck arrived so they always took the rubbish away. Awesome job guys. Oh they were always courteous.
