I tried the Lymphatic massage with Sasa and my partner got hot stone with Peter. Both were incredible and we would go back to either gladly! Kathy at the front desk was super friendly and offered to put us in the same room even though we booked separate massages. Parking spots are tight but convenient. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is they are under construction so there was some noise and could hear people walking upstairs (hopefully this will be a null point soon!)

I’ve been coming here for 10 years. It started off great - fantastic pricing and decently consistent massages, especially if you knew who to ask for. I previously had some of the best massages in my life at this location, where the masseuse had great technique, was intuitive, and never put any weird pressure on sensitive areas (like the spine). Post-Covid, it seems like things really changed. I’ve gotten 3 massages in the last year. The first was maybe a 6/10. The second to the last was a couple’s massage, and was even worse - maybe a 4/10 from both my girlfriend and I. Reluctantly, I booked one more time - secretly hoping to relive some of the past excellent massages I had gotten. When I called to book, I specifically mentioned both my girlfriend and I having bad massages last time, and that I wanted a more experienced masseuse this time around. The receptionist acknowledged my request. We came in, and while my girlfriend had a great massage, I had one of the worst massages in my entire life. No technique (just sporadic movements all along my back without really ever focusing on anything more than my neck for more than 10 seconds), seemed distracted (was massaging with one hand off and on, whispering to the other masseuse occasionally, potentially on their phone or taking a break), put weird pressure on areas that shouldn’t have a lot of pressure (like the spine), and just overall felt like she didn’t know what she was doing. When we finished, I was also surprised to see the pricing had gone up. If someone is paying $110/person (with tip) for a 60 minute massage, they really need to be training these masseuses for more consistency - and I would be willing to bet money on her not being certified. Which I don’t technically care about if they know what they’re doing - but if I’m paying a premium rate AND they don’t have a consistent technique? It’s pretty infuriating. I called to give feedback after the massage and the front desk receptionist couldn’t have cared less. It’s unfortunate that this place has gone down hill, while their pricing has only increased. It was a good 10 year run - but time for me to move on to a spa that hires better employees. Update: about 2 hours after and my trap is severely inflamed from the overly aggressive work that was done. I’d give this place a 0/5 if I could.

Attended for meditation that was so calming. The space is so welcoming and warm! Staff are friendly and share a peaceful energy to welcome you to the space. Tara took me on a tour of the rooms, I look forward to returning to relax in the mugwort and salt rooms!

I visit San Diego several times a year. I always make it a point to visit Karma Wellness when I am in town to get an amazing massage. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that on this visit they had recently opened up a new Healing Center upstairs! You can literally spend the entire day here now……to reconnect, rebalance and recover. After checking in, I changed, showered and donned a relaxing spa uniform. You are given a locker to store your belongings. You get an electronic key that goes around your wrist. I chose the recovery/athletic pathway as I had just finished a Power Vinyasa yoga session. There are numerous treatment rooms featured -all with a specific therapeutic effect. My treatment pathway was: Mugwort → Cold → Mineral Clay → Red Light → Forest This was designed to reduce inflammation and support muscle repair. After an hour, I felt like I was on Cloud Nine. I found the staff sooooo kind! You feel the energy the minute you arrive. And, the place is pristine. This included the locker room, showers and the treatment rooms. To my knowledge, there is nothing like this in SD. I can’t wait to come back and try a group class as well.

Had an amazing experience here! What a wonderful spot. The Himalayan salt room is my favorite. Kinda excited for the cold plunge they got coming too. Looking into membership and making this a regular part of my wellness routine. Everyone was so nice too! UPDATE: 2/28/26- I went back for a couples massage with my boyfriend (masseuses were Eva and Peter) and we had SUCH a great experience!! The massage was amazing. They also had a promo for an hour in the healing rooms and omg, I was ecstatic bc I’m convincing him to get a membership so we can go more often, lol. He was so impressed with the spa and relaaaxed, it was an awesome day date and everyone was so friendly. Thank you again, Karma Wellness!

This place delivers a strong and necessary reminder that the small struggles we encounter every day in our lives conditions us to tolerate imbalance within ourselves. A short visit is all that's needed to reverse weeks of stress. Tara, one of Karma's leaders, provided a beautiful and meditative sound healing session from her crystal bowls. My because system feels reset and refreshed. I will certainly return. If you're on the fence about visiting, I encourage you to at least try them out. If anything, you'll learn something about your own personal health.
