We recently had a maternity photoshoot with Kayla and wanted to share our experience in a detailed and balanced way. The session itself was genuinely lovely. Kayla was warm, patient, and personable, and she created a comfortable environment from start to finish. Her studio is beautiful, and the photos she captured during the shoot were truly stunning. Her editing style is very consistent with what you see on her website, and she clearly has a strong creative eye. There are a few things that future clients may want to be aware of so expectations are fully aligned. After the photoshoot, we selected our images and paid for a large editing package. We were not aware at the time that editing on the full set begins immediately after the session and that the editing is outsourced. Because of this, there was no flexibility to adjust the size of the editing package shortly after payment. For anyone considering a high-volume editing package, I would recommend asking in advance about how quickly editing starts, whether it is done in-house or outsourced, and what the options are if you later decide to reduce the number of edited images. Clear communication around timelines and policies would be helpful, especially for clients who may be navigating tight budgets. When we realized the full editing package was more than we could reasonably commit to, communication became more challenging and the process felt stressful at times. That said, we do appreciate that Kayla ultimately provided a full refund, which we acknowledge and are grateful for. We also received two edited images as part of our original photoshoot package, which we appreciate although we were not presented with the option to choose the two images we liked most. Additionally, we were hoping to move forward with a smaller editing package instead, but unfortunately that option was not available for us at the time, so we missed out on some images we would have loved to have edited. Overall, the photoshoot itself was wonderful and the images from the session were beautiful. Our experience highlighted the importance of discussing editing timelines and policies in advance, and I think future clients would benefit from having those details clarified before making a final selection. Update: Kayla gave us the option to have the pictures we really liked edited. We paid the fees associated to them and got them. They are beautiful. Thanks Kayla.

Totally recommend! We Went there for our Christmas family pictures, with my 4 year old, my 2 year old and my 5 months old baby. Kayla is so kind with kids and to everyone. The space is amazing very family friendly, good space to change and get ready, the kids even got to play with toys. We were served coffee, cookies and water. We were treated so well. The pictures were ready within hours! Such a beautiful and professional work! More than a picture session Kayla will make you smile from treating you so well :D this year was our second time booking with Kayla and God willing, we are surely coming back!

We came to Kayla for a newborn photoshoot and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome!! Kayla was extremely professional, understanding, and kind. She did a phenomenal job at bringing our vision to life and incorporating certain sentimental items we had for our baby in the sets. We are so happy and will definitely be returning for more family photos in the future!

Safe to say, I will definitely be back! My family and I have a culture of having photoshoots every year. It’s usually during Christmas, but we had a special occasion so we needed a family picture and I’m beyond amazed at the quality of Kayla’s service. I’m not just talking about the pictures - best quality I’ve ever had by the way - or how personable she was. From the moment we stepped into the studio her level of professionalism was obvious in the highly detailed decor and relevant props. I must admit, her hospitality was mind blowing. She offered snacks, water and most importantly a friendly smile, making sure we were more than comfortable the entire duration of the shoot. It felt like she really took her time and enjoyed the process. Sometimes these things can be tense or frustrating for families, but Kayla made sure to the best of her abilities that everything we needed was catered for, sometimes even going out of her way to help out. Overall, I’m so thoroughly impressed by the seamless process and the impeccable results and I’m beyond grateful to Kayla for everything.

Kayla’s professionalism was beyond my expectations! From the very start, she provided a clear list of rules and procedures that made the process simple and easy to follow. She even offered thoughtful recommendations for outfits and shoes, along with suggestions on where to purchase them- this was a detail that made planning so much smoother. Her prices are incredibly affordable for the exceptional quality she delivers, and the editing on our photos was phenomenal- every picture looked magazine worthy without feeling overdone at all. Throughout our interactions, she remained the perfect balance of professional and incredibly friendly. On the day of the shoot, her hospitality was unmatched- she made sure my family felt completely at ease, offering us drinks and even snacks for our eventually hungry toddler. And the results? Absolutely breathtaking. Our family portraits and personal shots came out stunning, and my family couldn’t stop smiling at how amazing we looked. I would recommend Kayla’s Photography a hundred times over!!
