I’m so glad we found this place! The menu has a huge variety, so there’s something for everyone, even if you’re not a huge sushi person. My friend got the hibachi chicken and it was really flavorful.

I’ve driven by it a million times and finally stopped in. The rolls were perfect, and we tried a few of their specialty rolls which were unique and delicious.

Related to a past visit, this was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The service was not just slow, it was borderline nonexistent, we had to keep asking for refills. And when we did get attention, it was completely unhelpful. Instead of explaining anything about the menu or offering recommendations, our server just kept pointing at the menu like we hadn’t already read it. It felt dismissive and honestly a little insulting. The sushi itself was completely average. We had to Lover’s Dream and Greensboro but nothing tasted particularly fresh and nothing was memorable. It felt like grocery store sushi rolls drowned with sauce on top. The hibachi took a long amount of time, to the point where it felt like they didn’t put my order in immediately after we had already waited to be helped. And I’m almost certain they never even put in my soup. Hibachi once it came out though was decent. The drinks are okay. Yes, they have a variety, and it is nice to have them at a restaurant but they’re so overwhelmingly sugary that they’re basically undrinkable. At that point, I’d rather go somewhere that actually focuses on decent sushi and get drinks somewhere else. Overall, this place feels sloppy, inattentive, and nowhere near ready to deliver a good dining experience. There are too many better options out there to justify coming back. (And in response to the owner, this review is in reference to a past visit about a month ago. While I don’t remember the server, he was a mid-tone complexion guy. Please, rather than going on a detective tangent, work on taking criticism. I hope to hear about Kazoku improving in the future, as I won’t be returning.)

If you’re hungry, you have to try the all-you-can-eat option. It’s such a great deal for the quality you get. We ordered a bunch of rolls, appetizers, and sushi, and everything was tasty.

I had an excellent experience at Kazoku. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our server Lexi was very familiar with the menu and she offered very attentive service. I had lunch with co-worker and I can easily say this will now be one of our new lunch spots. They have a great lunch menu and all the food had such beautiful presentation. I highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
