I had the absolute best time at Keel Farms celebrating my 40th birthday! Our wine tasting experience was incredible — the wine was delicious, and Amanda, our host, was truly the highlight of the day. She was so warm, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make everything feel special. We were cutting it close for our lunch reservation and farm tour, and Amanda took the time to rearrange everything so we didn’t feel rushed — such a thoughtful and kind gesture! She even surprised me with a beautiful birthday gift — a bracelet I’ll always treasure. I also had a slice of key lime pie that was absolutely delicious, and the food overall was amazing. From start to finish, Amanda made sure my milestone birthday was unforgettable. I highly recommend Keel Farms — and if you go, definitely ask for Amanda. She’s the best!
A wonderful way to spend an afternoon & have some incredible ciders & lunch. The smashed burger was delicious, chicken sandwich was wonderful per the husband! My favorite ciders were Mango & Mimosa! We sat inside at the bar and had great service by Bree & then finished our beverages outside and listed to a great singer. It was hot but they had the portacools going and under the tent was very comfortable! Loved the bug fans to keep them away from the table & beverages - just brilliant! I can't wait to return!
It was our first time visiting Keel Farms. It was a nice lunch on a beautiful sunny day! We were greeted right away. Breanna was our server. She was great! She gave us the rundown on how to pull up the drink menu using the QR code. She also answered our questions regarding serving sizes. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to share a flight. He picked Curley's Irish cider and a Mango cider. I selected the Dry Blueberry wine and King Cake cider. It's great that you can mix and match a flight of wine, beer, and cider. We ended up liking the Curley's Irish cider the best. The taste was reminiscent of ciders we had at our neighborhood pub in the UK, only this one was more carbonated and not as crisp. We would definitely get this one again. I also enjoyed the King Cake cider because of the unique flavor. My husband didn't care for the sweet mango. As for the wine, I think it's a personal preference. I've tried some of their other wines (ranging from sweet to dry) at restaurants, and when gifted a bottle from friends & family. It's just not for me. However, I do like their cider. The Elderberry one is another good choice. Our lunch order was pretty good. We really liked the Berry Salad. There was a generous amount of fresh strawberries and blueberries. Everything blended well together with the strawberry Riesling vinaigrette. We shared the salad along with 2 appetizers. I think the Beef & Cheese Empanadas were our favorite. The cilantro lime aioli just took it to the next level. I don't know where they get them from, or who makes them. They are a good size with lots of filling. It was actually quite tasty. I'd get it again. We discovered at the end of our meal that they give military discounts. That's always good to know, and very appreciated. What's cool is that you can take a stroll around the farm before or after eating. We visited the goats, and saw the grape vines. They have winery tours. I'd like to book this one day. We didn't get to do or see everything, so I'm sure they offer much more than we saw. We did see vendors setting things up for the Blueberry Festival that occurs every weekend in April (except Easter Sunday). It's definitely a nice place to visit in the springtime for strawberry or blueberry season. Check it out if you're in Plant City.
We had a lovely time at Keel farms! It was our first time as we were visiting from out of town and the location is beautiful! Lots to see. My kids loved the goats and chickens. They also have a small playground and a pond as well as some cute photo ops. We dined at the restaurant and I got the Wine Burger and it was fantastic! Highly recommend. My kids both got kids meals and they were pleased. We had a larger party and our dining experience did take about 2 hours total, so it did take a while but we enjoyed our time and it was worth it. I tried the strawberry wine and it was delicious. Great for families or a date night!
