I was rear ended by a speeding driver who never even touched her brakes before she smashed into me when I was stopped at a red light. My car was totaled, I was injured, andI was totally disoriented by everything that happened to me following this senseless event. I was utterly overwhelmed by the magnitude of the collision. I have loved working with Michaela and her team. I was in a car accident in September of 2023 and was getting absolutely nowhere with the drivers insurance company. I was initially offered an amount of money that was an extreme joke. I contacted Michaela and my husband and I had a consultation with her. During the consultation she gave us pointers and tips and told us that she thought we could do it on our own so we wouldn’t have to give a portion of my settlement to a lawyers office. This spoke volumes with me as she wasn’t all about just making money. She was willing to give us advice and tell us things I could do to not have to give a portion of the settlement to a lawyer and it didn’t cost us anything. The consultation was completely free. However, she said that if I still couldn’t get anywhere she’d be more than happy to work with me. I tried all the tips and pointers she gave me and after a couple more months of fighting with the drivers insurance company and not getting anywhere I ended up hiring her. From the moment I signed the papers her and her team were there for me. They asked questions about how I was doing both mentally and physically which meant a lot. I had all of my questions answered and so did my husband. They took over with the doctor’s offices and hospital that I’d been dealing with that had liens on the amount of money I owed them. They were extremely thorough with everything. Anytime they needed information they let me know and as soon as I gave them the information they were always quick to respond and let me know if they needed anything else from me. All my emails and phone calls were answered in a timely manner, so I wasn’t left waiting and wondering. They made everything easier and took the stress of having to do it on my own where I wasn’t getting anywhere with the insurance company away. I just received a partial payout recently that was a bit over 8 times what the insurance company’s initial offer was. Michaela is very knowledgeable in what she does and was able to answer all of mine and my husband’s questions. She made us feel at ease during the entire process.
