We came here early aftetnoon on New Years Eve thinking maybe watching the fireworks. Checked out the parking situation first and on-site premium flat rate parking was readily available, so we decided to park there. We weren't sure if we would stay till the fireworks but we ended up staying. We enjoyed walking around and eating at a restaurant (lots of sitting at the benches too) before watching the fireworks. It is family friendly with the rides, games, snacks, and restaurants so you can easily spend a day here. It's good that there are dedicated restrooms but when we were there everybody wanted to go to the restroom near the rides and the line became a 20 min wait! We think of Kemah for the waterfront but often choose Galveston; still, Kemah also has a lot of appeal.

We visited the Kemah Boardwalk later in the evening, and the kids still had a great time! There are lots of fun rides and games, and the atmosphere is lively and family-friendly. That said, I’d definitely recommend going earlier in the day so you have more time to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. If you’re planning to do multiple rides, the all-day pass is totally worth it. Overall, a fun outing and great memories with the kids! 🎡✨

It's an excellent amusement park! You can have a fantastic time there, enjoy amazing food, and eat at places like Bubble Gum and other super good restaurants. I highly recommend it! The train ride is fabulous, the lights are amazing, and the boat ride is wonderful. Everything is just fantastic. Come and enjoy a few hours, and the entrance fee is only $28, which is a great deal for the whole day. I invite you, my friends, to experience this fabulous place.

Such a fun place. No frills, just a classic amusement park by the water. All the rides are so thrilling, even for an adult. But I especially loved all the staff members here as they’re all so approachable and friendly. Highly recommend!
