I have been at Kenilworth for the past 3 years. I returned to riding in at age 71 and everyone at the barn was welcoming and kind to me. The owner, Julia Nagler, keeps every aspect of the facility immaculate at all times. She is a great teacher with an excellent staff of trainers and grooms. The horses are extremely well cared for. No one could ask for better school horses. Most are retired show jumpers no longer able to jump huge combinations, but still enthusiastic about jumping lower jumps. I had my horses at various barns in my youth and this is the nicest one ever. Donnis Hobson

I have been riding at Kenilworth for several months now and have seen the most improvement in my riding during this period. My trainer, Clara, customizes her training style based on how I learn, and explains things differently when I do not immediately get a concept. The program is regimented, and the barn is huge on safety - not only for the riders, but also for the horses. I learned more about safety (including in inclement weather and extreme heat, for example) at Kenilworth than at any other places, and I appreciate the connection we make with the school horses - treating them as equal partners, riding them safely, and paying attention to their health and emotions. If you are looking for a barn to learn all about horse care and riding, Kenilworth is the place to be!

Our 10-year old has been taking lessons at Kenilworth for over two years now, and it has been such a joy to watch her passion for horsemanship take root. Her trainer, Nia, is a fantastic teacher and mentor - encouraging and kind, yet no-nonsense. She's a total pro. But what's most important is I feel she really wants the best for our kid, not only as a budding equestrian, but as a young person who is readying themself for the world. The thing I most appreciate about Kenilworth is how they teach our daughter responsibility, accountability and respect for themselves, the other riders, the stable, team and of course, the lesson horses. Highly recommend!

I've been taking lessons at Kenilworth Stables for the past six months, and it has been an absolute delight. The highlight of my experience has undoubtedly been my instructor, Nia. Nia is a phenomenal teacher who has not only improved my riding skills but also made each lesson enjoyable and informative. She is patient, knowledgeable, and always ensures that the safety of both my horse and me is a top priority. Kenilworth Stables itself is a fantastic place for horse riding lessons. The facilities are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It's clear that the staff here share a genuine passion for horses and equestrian sports. If you're looking for a great place to learn horse riding and an outstanding instructor, I highly recommend Kenilworth Stables and Nia. My experience here has been nothing short of wonderful, and I look forward to continuing my lessons with her.

I started riding at Kenilworth a year ago, and it's the best thing I've ever done for myself. Now I ride 2-3X a week and it brings me endless amounts of joy. I was intimidated at first -- it's a stunning, full-service barn with a committed staff and members who ride regularly. First I started training in private lessons with Nia who is a fantastic trainer. She's super smart, funny, and patient-- we'll revisit areas and exercises where I'm struggling until I feel confident. Sometimes she'll have exercises planned ahead, and other times she'll let me choose what I want to work on, which is flexibility I really appreciate. I've since also started training with Andrea in group lessons to further my learning and it's been incredible. Everyone who works here means business (with safety as the #1 priority) but they also keep it fun. The other members I ride with are kind and willing to help when I have questions. Staff is super attentive to our needs -- I've noticed they'll replace gear as it gets worn quite often. They have a great system in place for scheduling makeup lessons when we need it. The school horses are all lovely teachers and very patient with beginner riders like me. All in all it's been a lovely learning environment and I'm only sad I didn't start riding here sooner.
