I had a very disappointing experience with this academy. They repeatedly canceled lessons at the last minute, which made it difficult to maintain any consistency or progress. What was even more frustrating was that instead of honoring the original schedule, they keep pushing me to take lessons with other teachers who were not the ones I had signed up for. In March 2026, they cancelled 3 out of 4 classes but only offered to refunded half of monthly tuition. This felt extremely unprofessional and not a great business practice. The manager keeps blaming the teacher/employee who recently left the academy. Clear communication, reliability, and accountability are essential for any educational services, and unfortunately, this academy fell short on all three. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Do NOT join unless you're willing to let your hard earned money waste on an academy who do not care about anything but money. On a side note, I don't want to support a business where they are ready to throw their employees under the bus when things went South.

Starting our daughter’s lessons at Kentucky Arts Academy has been one of the best decisions we’ve made! Ms. Shianne has been so incredible and attentive to creating lessons to her learning strengths which is so encouraging for her to work on pushing through the challenging moments. It’s been so wonderful seeing our daughter overcome her fear of performing and shine during recital. Huge thank you to Ms Shianne!
