I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and professional and advised me every step of the way of what was needed done to my car , I've had tyres and vehicle repairs done here very reasonably priced

I had checked the Kerrs Tyres website prior to visiting to ensure that there was Tyres in stock for our vehicle (there was plenty of options on the website) When I had arrived at the branch, I was told that there was no tyres in stock for our car. However there was a van at their Antrim branch bringing Tyres back which there was some stock at. I was offered a Sumitomo tyre at £75 which I accepted along with the alignment. It wasn't my first choice, but as there was no other options available I settled on this one. The girl then proceeded to order 2 tyres over the phone to be sent down from Antrim (despite me only asking for one). I was informed it would be about 30 minutes, I said this was fine and that I would go for a walk and would be back in an hour. I left the keys and my details and left. (11.45am) I then got a phonecall about 5 mins later to say that the car was checked prior to any work being done and I was informed that the passenger side tyre also needed to be replaced as it was "below the legal limit". I said this was fine and to go ahead and replace it too. I had gotten suspicious as when I looked at the wheel last night it looked ok. (Wheel had been taken off the car as some repairs were being carried out) and I had a photo of the wheel/tyre in question from the night before. As I was still in the area I circled back to look at the car before it went in. I looked round the tyre and took photos and saw no issues with it. Especially nothing below the legal limit as I was told on the phone! At this point I walked back into reception to ask what the issue was with the tyre. The girl quickly looked at someone called Kyle who said it was the inner edge of the tyre. Told me it was feathered. I said how there was no issues with it. Kyle then took us out, turned the wheel full lock and proceeded to tell me it was the inner edge of the tyre again. I will attach the photos showing this 'defective' tyre. After being shown, it was clear that there was no damage on the tyre, there was plenty of tread and that I was 100% being taken on. I had just caught them in their lie. At this point I refused to have the 2nd tyre done as there was no need for it. I was then told (in a defensive manner) that the alignment couldn't be done as it wouldn't be right if I wasn't going to buy 2 tyres. I had said that I wouldn't pay for it as I knew I was being scammed at this point. Your team would not do the alignment otherwise. The way I was spoken to was as if I was stupid and didnt know what I was talking about. I then left again to let them change the 1 tyre that needed done. After an hour I returned and the car still wasn't ready. I had taken the car for my partner to get new tyres as I didnt want her to be taken advantage of, and its disgusting that this is exactly what was attempted here! There was no apology from staff for this either, more so just defensive behaviour when they were caught out! - In total I was waiting over 2 hours (for what should have been 30 minutes) car was finished at 1.45pm - when I came to pay for the tyre I was charged £90. When I mentioned that I was told it was £75, I was only informed at this point that VAT was to be added on top so I was not happy with this either. I then looked up the price online when I got back in the car and no surprise the 'fully fitted' online price is cheaper for the exact same tyre and size. I WILL be expecting this price difference back but I will give Kerrs a chance to make this right before I start a chargeback with my bank - After these 2 hours I took the car across the road to Modern Tyres to do the alignment who were able to do it right away and when I asked about a 2nd opinion on the tyre they told me that a new tyre wasn't needed as there was still 4mm of tread left on their records. - This was the 2nd time I had visited the Duncrue branch, first time being in my own car and was left disappointed the first time too (again same issues with stock showing on the website but not available In store when I was there in person) had to leave with no sale made.

Front of house friendly, but when I returned to my car, gearstick cover was knocked off. Managed to refit it, but how did that even happen, and why was it not even attempted to be fixed? Also asked if while all 4 tyres where being changed, if the mechanic would mind taking a look underneath for damage. Was assured that's no bother. On return of keys, "why would I have done that, not my job". Because, I asked and just spent hundreds on tyres and a task which would have taken you about 30 seconds.

Fantastic company and the team were out with me for mobile fitting of 3 motorhome brand new tryes, done in less than an hour at door. And the price of 3 tryes fitted was just other what I payed kwikfit for one brand new trye. You just can't beat that. Friendly guys too. Highly recommended
