We did take-out this time, so can't comment on the "atmosphere" or "service." Suffice it to say, the two dishes we ordered were excellent. Tasty, properly spiced and enough for another meal. We definitely will go here again.

In the Top 3 of Indian Restaurants I've been to (and I used to live in South Bay)! The food was flavorful and portions generous. The staff is super attentive; not only did they answer all of our questions, they accommodated my request for a yummy virgin cocktail (and charged me accordingly). While we were there, the server helped a young woman order with multiple allergies. He went back and forth from the table to the kitchen to double check everything! As a person with food allergies, I appreciated his efforts. Can't wait to go back and sit on the patio which seems cozy.

Highly recommend this spot on College Ave. the Indian food is authentic and delicious and the restaurant is very comfortable. Super attentive service too. This is our go to spot and we will be back. Even though we came in right before closing time they still made us feel special and welcomed and put out a great meal.

Ordered delivery. While food was fresh and flavorful, my saag paneer was supposed to be "mild" and I'm very intolerant of "hot" spicy food. It was almost inedible to me. Given, someone who enjoys spicy food might find it great, it was way too spicy for me. My husband likes spicy food and ordered medium, and he said his chicken tikka masala was completely mild. Go figure!

We placed a large order for delivery through the Khana Peena website. At the time that the food was supposed to be delivered, the Uber driver cancelled (despite clear instructions on how to find us and without ever trying to contact us). I called Khana Peena and was informed the food was picked up and there was nothing they could do as this was an issue with Uber. I tried to contact Uber but as the order wasn’t placed through my Uber account I was unable to reach anyone. I called Khana Peena back and was informed the owner was already on the phone with Uber. He got us a refund, had the food remade, and even offered to drive it over to us personally. The food was delicious, as always. We were truly thrilled with the level of service and will continue to order here regularly.
