Very disappointed in the Kiddie Park standard for special needs accomadations. Today we tried to celebrate a birthday for my 2yr old quadraplegic special needs babygirl, she is terminal and every moment celebrated and lived is unique for her, something we try very hard to make possible in any way. So we show up and I'm scalded by the clerk about our 3 girls heights (not the baby) ..which 2 were less than half inch over the height..literally right over the black mark and still way under the green shades area..which was probably shoe related..we were denied access in for the rides..i even explained we would need our girls to hold the baby in place with them.. like any other 2 siblings riding together..denied entry and rides for the half inch height limit!? Mind you as we left our train ride we opted for..we see tons on larger/taller kids on the rides..you gotta do better..possibly the only place for my baby to enjoy a very child friendly ride..terminally ill or not its not ok to differentiate which kids any clerk allows..it was a one time visit on a good day for her..not like my child is unreasonably tall..all 3 girls denied for literally a half inch..likely less to be honest! Was our only option to celebrate for a moment in time that we have no idea she will get to enjoy more of! No decency and I'll be sure I find the right people to contact in regards to this..One hour was all we wanted smh..photos are for reference and will be erased soon..referencing an adult in Sept was able to go on a ride but not these lil 1st graders!?
