Good place to wand wash or touchless. I wash my car myself
Kingsway Centre car wash has a big touchless option as well as wand wash bays. They take debit and credit now—no more tokens. It’s quick and efficient, in and out with a clean car, which matters with how mucky the roads were today. I’ve been here a few times already and will keep coming back. I also noticed a guy out shovelling slushy snow from the entry point-driveway, which says a lot about how they care for the operation. Minor note for ownership: the washrooms were a little dirty today, nothing major, just something to keep an eye on.
Avoid this place at all costs – the owner runs a scam and has zero respect for customers. This is hands-down the worst car wash experience I’ve ever had. The drive-through wash wasn’t working properly and left a thick white residue all over my car. When I showed the owner, he actually blamed me and said I “should have bought a more expensive wash.” Unreal. Mind you my car wasn't overly dirty. I tried to clean the residue in the self-serve bay, but even there the equipment barely worked. The soap barely came out of the pressure wand, just a pathetic trickle, and when I pointed it out, the owner told me to “just wait, it’ll eventually come out." Total scam behaviour. Instead of fixing the issue or offering a refund, he literally shut the bay off so I couldn’t rinse the mess his machine caused. Only when I mentioned Consumer Protection and posting a review did he finally turn it back on. As I drove away, this man actually yelled “get out of here” at me in front of other customers. Completely unprofessional, aggressive, and honestly disgusting. This business is a joke and a scam. Save your money and go anywhere else
I had a very disappointing experience at this car wash that I feel compelled to share. After completing a basic wash, I stayed briefly to apply a quick polish using a light wax product. Due to the cold weather outside, it wasn’t feasible to do this outdoors, as the wax would not cure properly. I was simply trying to finish the process efficiently and with care. However, I was approached by a staff member who did not greet me or engage respectfully. Instead, he abruptly asked, “What are you doing here?” Without any courtesy or professionalism. When I explained that I was just applying a quick coat of polish and would be done in a few minutes, he dismissively told me, “You have to do it outside.” I tried to clarify that the product I was using is light- and temperature-sensitive, but he responded rudely, stating, “We don’t care,” in an unprofessional tone that I found both disrespectful and completely unacceptable. In addition to this poor interaction, I also experienced repeated issues with their payment system. When I attempted to pay for a second round of cleaning, my card was declined multiple times despite there being no issue with my bank or funds. This added unnecessary frustration to an already negative experience. Overall, I found both the customer service and the facility to be severely lacking in professionalism and reliability. I left feeling disrespected and dissatisfied. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
This car wash is a little out of the way for me, however as I managed to run up the bill on my credit card because I failed to press the red button to stop the charges months ago, my fault. I spoke with the person operating the wash at the time, he gave me a gift card to compensate. That was actually nice of him. I used the wash again today, as you can see by the pictures, the place was empty. No surprise as it is minus 24. Many car washes were closed due to the weather. I didn't use the brush as I do at my regular car wash, I was pleased with the result. My car was just as clean. I like all the car wash options but if I was to use them all, it would be very pricey, in which case you may as well use their drive through wash. The total cost for 4 min 51 seconds was $6.00. I wanted to know how much was left on my gift card, the person operating the wash was helpful and polite. If you do use the brush, soap up your car and press stop and restart when ready to rinse. Saves $.
