Kiwa Teahouse is such a gem. It’s my go-to place for studying and coffee. The space is clean, cozy, and comfortable, with a calm vibe that makes it easy to focus. The food is fresh and healthy (their salads are amazing), and the staff is very friendly. The owner is always present, making sure everything is perfect and interacting with customers — they really make you feel valued and remembered. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot to study or unwind, I definitely recommend Kiwa Teahouse.

Very good place to get tea. The cafe feels very cozy. I can see myself enjoying reading a book at this place in the future. Also the pottery in this building is so beautiful. I was so drawn in looking at the pottery. Got the ceremonial grade matcha. I've been drinking matcha for years now and tasting kiwas matcha. Really gave me flashbacks of trying matcha for the first time. It was so smooth and refreshing. And I did get it sweetened. But once when you get through the sweetner bit. It turns into a very refreshing matcha latte with very little sweetness in it. I loved everything about it. I will try the hojicha in the future. Another tea I've had for awhile. But very excited to see that they have it on the menu for a tea. I would love to enjoy it and study the flavors of the hojicha. To perfect my own hojicha latte in the future.

I was so glad that I found Kiwa when visiting Louisville. What I loved about Kiwa was the high ceiling, simple decoration and aesthetic/relaxing vibe. I made my own matcha drinks every morning using matcha sourced from Japan, so I do have a high expectation when it comes to matcha. I ordered an iced matcha latte at Kiwa and they definitely nailed it. My partner had the sesame latte and it was really good as well. Kiwa is such a hidden gem in Louisville. I can’t wait to go back next time I am in town. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

KIWA had a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The Bulgogi Soysauce Beef Sandwich and Spicy Shrimp Sandwich were amazing. The Matcha latte was delicious. And the Matcha Affogato was a lovely sweet treat. The employee there was very welcoming. We really enjoyed our first experience here 😁😁

We booked a private baby shower here as we aren’t the type to want to play a bunch of games, and wanted a relaxing time. The light refreshments and sandwiches we got were surprisingly a lot of food! It was all BEAUTIFUL, DELICIOUS, and so thoughtfully done. Soo Young took incredible care of us, and played some nice soothing music while we all enjoyed fantastic tea and gorgeous food. I could have lived off the chicken salad and bulgogi sandwiches for the rest of my life. And don’t get me started on the raspberry tea. We had ceremonial matcha and it was such an educational experience. I just know I’ll be thinking of and remembering the great experience we had for years.
