Second time here with my girlfriend and it’s become her favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Traditional, delicious food is hard to come by and this place nails it! If you havent tried this restaurant I would highly recommend it! Great people, great food, great experience! We’ll be back soon!
This place was truly amazing! Went here after a visit to the botanical gardens. I will say I recommend using google to find this place (after you park) because it is tucked away and hard to find when it is dark out!). Sushi is extremely fresh tasting and the flavors are bright. Service was decent as well. Only complaint is appetizers came out at the same time as the sushi but not enough to ruin the experience. We will definitely be back when we are on this side of town again! (Now that we can find it!!!!)
The madai (Japanese sea bream) and Suzuki was buttery, fresh, and delicious enough to order twice. I love the presentation with the fan shaped plates 🪭 Seating at the sushi bar was fast, service was excellent, and the salmon and madai both were delicious.
This is my first time come here and I really enjoyed my meal here! The food was so delicious and the portions were very generous. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere. My family definitely come back again!
A Surprisingly Good Sushi Spot (Even for a Non-Sushi Fan). Hidden away, almost as if it's playing a game of culinary hide-and-seek behind a few other buildings, we found a little sushi gem. It felt very much by itself, which, in a way, added to its charm. Large windows offered a nice view, letting in plenty of light. Now, I'm not really a sushi guy myself – I'm more into other food – but some of my family members definitely are, and they gave it a hearty "pretty good" stamp of approval. The prices seemed pretty normal; from my perspective, not cheap, not outrageous. The service was good, attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant isn't huge, which gives it a cozy, authentic feel. I was actually a little surprised to see quite a few people dining solo, a testament, perhaps, to its quiet appeal. The decor is decent, nothing over the top, but it definitely feels very genuine, like you've stepped into a little piece of Japan. If you're a sushi person, or even if you're just looking for a solid meal in a place that feels off the beaten path, I'd say this spot is definitely worth checking out
