Great big playground for kids. There is an exciting stone slide and indoor historical carousel around. No parking fee. It's a wonderful stop for kids to have some exercise when you are in the Golden Gate Park area.

Koret Children’s Playground is such a delightful place for little ones! The moment we walked in, my kids were instantly drawn into all the exciting things there were to climb, slide, and discover. The play areas are creative and varied, making it feel like a mini world built just for young explorers. The surrounding greenery makes the whole environment feel calm and inviting, perfect for spending a full afternoon outdoors. I also really like that adults can only enter if they’re with children—it keeps the space truly kid-focused and safe. My kids had an amazing time, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Such a great family spot. All ages welcomed. Lots of dogs running around. There isn't a parking lot and parking is tight but if you drive around enough you will find a park. Ton of grass areas and trees for shade.

Koret Playground is easily one of the best spots for kids in the area. It’s the biggest park around, and there’s no shortage of things for little ones to explore and enjoy. My kid absolutely loves it here and always has a blast. The sandpits are a favorite — great for digging, building, and just getting messy in the best way. There are also lots of fun sculptures scattered around that double as climbing structures, which keep kids active and engaged. One of the most unique features is the cardboard slides. It’s fun watching kids grab pieces of cardboard and race down the smooth concrete slides again and again. There’s also a good mix of swings and even a merry-go-round, which adds to the classic playground charm. Another big plus is the coffee stand nearby. It’s super convenient for parents who want to grab a cup while keeping an eye on their kids. The park is large enough that it never feels too crowded, even on busy weekends. Overall, Koret Playground is a fantastic place to spend a morning or afternoon. It’s well worth the visit if you’re looking for a spot that entertains the kids while giving parents a chance to relax.
