Expensive but WORTH IT. Best tacos I have found in VA beach area so far. Have gone again, will continue to go. Red sauce is a bit more spicy than typical "spicy" but the flavor is AMAZING. I drown my tacos in it till i get hiccups lol. The green sauce is safe for most non chili lovers. I get 1 asada, 1 carnitas and 2 pastor. No cilantro keep the onions on add avocado and add sautéd onions. It's only 4 tacos but it's filling. Add ons are extra. ( i buy a drink from the gas station next door, and bring it in- its cheeper and more options) Personal rating: Asada 4/5 | carnitas 4.5/5 | pastor 3.9/5 | red salsa 11/10 | green salsa 9.5/10 [Al Pastor is my favorite but no one makes it how I like it- bonus points for serving WITH a bit of pineapple chunks - I do still get it here] Tons of people do carry out, But I strongly believe tacos don't travel well. Its usually a bit of a wait but its always been exactly what I wanted and hit the spot. If I could change anything, I would love every plate to hit the table at the same time, and maybe some of the design choices to be updated. But once the tacos hit my lips all is forgiven. The place is cute. But the food is horrible. The corn cup tastes like nothing but cold Parmesan. The tacos had absolutely no flavor, were cold, and the meat was so tough I couldn’t chew it. I asked politely if I could just get a refund because I wasn’t going to waste my lunch hour trying to find something edible. The manager, who wouldn’t even come speak to me herself, sent the cashier to tell me that she couldn’t refund it because I had taken a bite. A BITE! Like I was supposed to just look at the food and know it was trash before I tried it. Horrible food and even worse service. Save your money. The pork tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Also, whatever that green salsa that they use is - I want it for every meal! So good!
