I love kura sushi! the food is really good and the bikkura pon system is so fun :) this time we went to try out the new kirby collab rolls. the kirby one was nice and on the sweeter side. it definitely felt a bit weird to eat that pink sauce haha. I liked the waddle dee roll a bit more because of the spice. they weren't on the conveyor belt themselves, you had to order them specifically on the tablet.
This place is a great spot to satisfy a craving. A thin slice bite is perfect for a hungry stomach. Haha, kidding aside, all the food is delicious, neatly presented, and clean. However, it’s a bit pricey for a bite, but it definitely satisfies your cravings. Thanks for the wonderful foodies. See you soon!
Kura is a lot of fun and the food holds up. The sushi is fresh, well made, and there is a great variety, so it is easy to keep finding things you want to try. The revolving belt makes it casual and easy, and the little extras add to the experience, especially the robot that delivers drinks and the small rewards you get for every 15 plates. Fair warning, it can get expensive faster than you expect. They track how many plates you take, and since everything looks good and tastes fresh, it is very easy to overdo it. Still, the quality and variety make it worth it, especially if you go in knowing what you are signing up for. A solid choice for fun, fresh sushi with a playful twist.
Fun experience with tasty food! Overall I think the whole self-service/conveyor belt thing makes it worth though some of the items, mainly the appetizers/sides, were a little overpriced - $5 for a bowl of miso soup seems a bit much. While it works out pretty well for a solo meal since you can easily get just the right amount of food, I think it’s a much better experience with a group since you can try more things (and get the gacha ball). Apart from that I’d recommend trying it out if you’re in the mood for sushi and want something different.
Used to be way better as I was here on opening day. The fish now has a smell to it and the inside could be cleaner. The staff are still friendly and nice, the robot is a nice addition as it brings you drinks. The prizes you get for spending hundreds of dollars here is definitely not worth it. So if you want a quick spot with some cheap fish and don’t want to talk to anyone then this place might be for you. Otherwise there is definitely better spots for quality sushi.
