I have been coming to Kwik Kar for years and I always leave feeling confident that a good job was done with my cars' maintenance, technicians are very friendly y polite and get the job done in a timely manner, I only have good things to say about their service.
The service I received today was great. I went in for an oil change and filter change. Everything was explained to me thoroughly. They were quick and very professional! I was very pleased!
THE WORST CAR SHOP I'VE EVER BEEN TO. Avoid this place like the plague! I dropped my car off at 5pm on a Friday due to a bad noise on my driver side that I thought could be the wheel bearing. Mechanic agreed and quoted $800 to replace both wheel bearings. Received a call from the shop on Saturday saying that my driver side wheel bearing was fine and that the noise was due to a bad cv axel and my passenger side wheel bearing. Total cost to replace my cv axel and the passenger side wheel bearing was $1200. I told the mechanic I didn't want to replace the cv axel but they said that they cannot put my old axel back on because it's shredded? DRIVER SIDE WHEEL BEARING WAS NOT REPLACED. When I picked up the car they told me to take it easy for a couple of days so the new parts “can settle.” Never heard of car parts having to settle before. Picked up on Saturday and was still hearing the same noise. I also started to lose control anytime I went above 30. Didn’t drive it at all on Sunday. On Monday morning the car completely stopped while I was trying to take it back to the shop. Had to get the car towed back to the shop. Monday afternoon I get a call saying that the cv axel THEY JUST PUT ON came off and a bolt needed to be replaced! Cost to replace the bolt was $200 but was waived in exchange for reimbursing me for the tow. Told them after they put that on they need to drive the car to hear the noise I was originally referring to since initially they said no noise was coming from the driver side. After driving it they said they could hear the noise and confirmed on the phone that it’s “100% the brake rotor” causing the initial noise. They replaced the rotor but the noise was still there. They refused to do anything else with my car so I was out $1200 with a car that's now in worst shape than it was before. I took my car to another shop and they said that the sound was my wheel bearing as along and that it's about to fall off! So not only did Kwik Kar lie about my wheel bearing being fine. They swindled me out of $1200.
I had a great experience at Kwik Kar! The service was fast, friendly, and professional. The price was very reasonable, and everyone there made the process quick and easy. Highly recommend for anyone needing an oil change!
I had an amazing experience when I stopped in to this location. As a woman who travels frequently I often find it hard to find a place I can be comfortable trusting with my car. The staff and the General manager Stacey and the visiting Market manager Tony made my visit unforgettable. I will be back. I had to take photos and show everyone the clean and organized customer area and ladies the restroom is sooo clean. If you are a woman you understand the importance of a clean restroom at a mechanic shop. The mechanics were knowledgeable and the process was smooth and quick. I came in for brakes and rotors on my ford explore and I am pleased with the work. I will be back and they even recommend another location closer to my job. Thanks guys for an unforgettable visit.
