Loved this restaurant. Excellent steak. The butter foie gras sauce was divine and I enjoyed a tall stack of cotton candy for dessert making me feel like a kid again. Service was exceptional. My husband and I had the best date here. Atmosphere is fun and casual with delicious food.

What an amazing experience at La Bète!!! The food, from the appetizers, to the our main course (which was tge Rib Eye for 2), was pure perfection! I HIGHLY recommend La Bète!!

I completely fell in love with this restaurant. The food was exceptional and the service matched it perfectly. My girlfriend and I were visiting Québec City during the holidays and picked La Bête Bar-Steakhouse randomly—and it turned out to be an incredible choice. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and everything was cooked to perfection, especially the meat. The flavors were bold, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere elevated the whole dining experience and made it ideal for a date night. Every bite lived up to the hype—an easy 10/10. Highly recommended for anyone who truly enjoys great food.

We came here for lunch and — plot twist — we were the only ones in the restaurant. It honestly felt like we rented the whole place for ourselves. Kinda fancy, kinda fun. The vibe and decor? Absolutely beautiful. Very elegant, from the lighting to the table settings. You walk in and immediately feel like you’ve stepped into a little corner of Europe. Our server was very French (in the best way possible), and the overall experience felt like a mini escape to Paris without the plane ticket. ✨🇫🇷 As for the food, we came in with high hopes — especially for the steak, since that seems to be their specialty. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The steak was… okay. Not bad, just not mind-blowing. However, the soup and salad? Chef’s kiss. They were unexpectedly the stars of the show. Bonus: the meal includes tea or coffee to wrap up, which was a nice touch. Overall, come for the ambiance, stay for the soup, and manage your expectations for the steak. 💁♀️ Would I come back? Maybe — if only to enjoy that peaceful, high-class vibe again.
