We came in on new years day. Everything around it was closed. There was like only 3 people working in the whole restaurant. They were very friendly and did a good job keeping up while being short staffed. I thought the ground beef was really greasy like nobody drained the fat off of it? Maybe thats how they like it? That was my one complaint. I really enjoyed their salsa and cheese dip. My chicken quesadilla was delicious. My wife got the rice bowl and really enjoyed it. Decent sized bar with a lot of TVs playing different games.
Absolutely love this place – one of the best Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville! The service is outstanding: our server was super friendly and attentive. The food quality is top-notch – everything tastes fresh and authentic, with bold flavors in the fajitas, burrito, and street tacos. Portions are incredibly generous; we end up taking leftovers home because you get so much for your money. And speaking of price, it's an amazing value – nice Mexican cuisine at reasonable price, Highly recommend – we'll be back soon!
This is now our favorite spot in Jax! Being from MX, this place is a little taste of home and by far the most authentic anywhere around! The staff is very attentive, food is absolutely amazing, and the michelada's are fantastic and HUGE! To La Costa staff and owner, thank you!
I ordered pretty standard fare. The chimichanga with shredded chicken was absolutely delicious. Rice and refried beans were pretty standard. Choriqueso with chips is quite drippy, but very flavorful. I also had an order of Toreados, which were deliciously spicy. The atmosphere is typical, but the taste is a cut above.
The reviews did not disappoint. This restaurant was awesomely incredible. I knew we were in for a treat when we were served the chips & salsa. The drinks and food was really good. The service and ambience was also top tier . Very clean establishment. Definitely recommended 👌. OSCAR & Leya were amazing 👏 🤩 👌
