Pan rosita is yummy. I asked if they could use a box for my pan rosita, chocolate and cheesecake and they wanted to charge $3 extra. My pan got home all squished and I believe it's something other stores offer for certain kind of bread at no extra charge.
Quite a bit going on in this establishment. You walk in and you immediately see in front the shelves with Pan Dulce (sweet bread). Mixed in there are Jalapeño Cheese bread. To the left are refrigerated cakes/desserts and Bolillos (French Roll). To the right is a kitchen that serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Pan was not as moist as I had hoped for, but it was good. I ordered a Chorizo burrito with potatoes and It was decent. It comes with Potatoes and Rice. I declined the rice.
I love the bread fresh and good. But today for the first time I decided to try the restaurant. Never again will I waste 30 dollars. One she reheated my food in microwave. The chili verde meat was rough. Ordered flautas for my son and this was already made and was sitting on the display so she also reheated in microwave. She pulled a big bag of rice out from god knows where then once again microwave. If you want fresh Mexican food just go to El toro down the street. This was at 7:30 el toro is closed by this time. I learned my lesson.
