The atmosphere, especially the garden patio, is lovely (4 stars). However, the rest of the experience didn't quite match the setting. The food was average for the price point, and the service felt a bit routine. It’s a nice spot, but the culinary side needs a refresh." Option B (Honest Feedback): "Beautiful location and a classic feel, but the meal itself was underwhelming. I expected more flavor given the reputation. Service was okay but not as attentive as I’d expect for fine dining. 3 stars

One of our favorite fine dining restaurants in Atlanta. I love their mussels for appetizer, my husband loves the caesar salad. For main meal we'll always share 3-4 pasta dishes (you can order any of their pasta dishes as appetizer size, which is great for trying different ones). For desert, the Creme Brulee is just fantastic, especially when paired with their vanilla gelato.

Me and my husband had the most amazing first experience at La Grotta. The service and atmosphere was wonderful but the food absolutely blew us away. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We had appetizer portions of pasta for our appetizers just so we could try more of the pasta. The beggars purse and ravioli were our absolute favorites. They gave us complimentary glasses of bubbly for our anniversary and we had the amazing chocolate torte with gelato for dessert. We will absolutely return here!

It was phenomenal. Amanda was the bartender, one the greatest of the new generation. She had all the answers. Best drinks, best food. Her service was amazing. Upon her recommendation we chose the lobster pasta which was some of the best pasta sauce I’ve ever had, loaded with tender lobster and a creamy and rich taste to it. We got two Caesar salads, which was the best I think I’ve had in Atlanta for sure. The crème brûlée was amazing, perfectly torched, the second or third best I’ve ever had. The meal did not miss. You have to make a reservation and the dress code is strictly enforced. I will definitely return, money well spent.

Hidden Gem!! Celebrated my birthday with family here and had an amazing evening. Everyone on our service team was outstanding and the recommendation for every course was exceptional. The dishes were bursting with flavor and portion size was perfect. Can’t wait to come back and try more!!
