I picked up an order for a group visiting our office. They were from out of town. I had raved about purisima and how good the bread was from there. Conchitas bread tasted like it was stored by garlic. I called Purisima right away to inform them of the taste, most the cochitas tasted bad, others were eaten but not enjoyed due to taste. Purisima rep. asked to bring back as much of the bread as possible. I didn't know she wanted uneaten pieces too. Took back what was left. Bought two dozen pieces. Instead of replacing the 15 pieces of conchitas with the bad taste, they only exchanged 8 pieces of uneaten bread. Had to drive a long distance, and pay again to replace for extra bread... Felt this was unfair, when I called was informed they would replace all of it. Had I known, I wouldn't have wasted my time to drive the distance again. Purisima is expensive, I don't have a problem paying, I didn't mind the drive because normally it so good. Found it a bit sad they didn't replace the full batch purchased. I even had to pay for two bags they used for new order, and they kept big box I purchased earlier to return bread. SMH, Not cool. Spent $50 plus dollars on 24 pieces of garlic tasting bread.

Tamales and not sure if the location glendale sells burritos like indian school but the green Chile burritos and red tamales are excellent!! All of the pastries are crazy-delicious my favorite the guava, cinnamon churros and some with the custard cream inside. I absolutely love this place!!! One of the best in Metro Phoenix The lines speak volumes, they just need more English speaking workers that is all. 😋Delicious

They were a little busy, but absolutely worth the wait! The tamales and fresh flour tortillas weren't pictured, but they were amazing. Can't wait to come back!

They had the freshest and softest concha’s I’ve ever had in my life. I grew up in Phoenix and never had conchas like these. So delicious, would go perfect with a cup of coffee, tea, or milk!

This is easily one of the best Hispanic bakeries in town, and the line of locals outside says it all. They’ve got tasty burritos, a huge selection of sweet breads and pastries at great prices, quick service, and even cakes. Totally worth the stop!
